    hello dear doctor. i have a question.
    why some our tissue components are hidden from immune system in our body?
    for example, sperm cells in the testes are sequestrated by a barrier and the immune cells can not reach them. what are the aim of it. or
    lens crystalline of eye are hidden again too.
    to be honest i have an idea, but i would like to hear the answer from you.
    and if you don't mind, can i have your email address or your number.
    with the kind regarded.

    Self antigen is been shown by MHC I or MHC II? Self antigens are produced by AIRE gene?

      ?

    • @DrJIBRANAHMED
      @DrJIBRANAHMED  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes AIRE is a Gene that produces AIRE protein that helps in production of Self Ag in Thymus. These self Ag are used to check whether a new immature T cells are recognising them or not.

    • @DrJIBRANAHMED
      @DrJIBRANAHMED  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Remeber these Self AG's are produced in our body specially to recognise any self reactive lymphocyte.
