I remember seeing this band live a few times and this is honestly one of his best performances. He's singing in a lower octave for lots of parts but he still sounds pretty good. Especially considering how tough of a song this is to sing.
He hit the HIGHEST note in the chorus, give him some mad props!!!!!!!! you are stupid if you think this sucks, some of these other bands (asking alexandria being a favourite) are horrible live
Well i mean there is more to singing than just hitting a high note. Anyone can technically scream a high note, singing is about making your voice actually sound good. Hvaing said that I still think this vocalist isn't bad at all. He just pushes he's voice a little too far in terms of what he can actually do
a little rocky at times, but it gives me chills when he goes that high, especially live even if it isnt 100% perfect. along with most, i seriously doubt anyone posting on here can do better, and if you can, do a video response and lets see it
well being on tour, and going through full sets every other day. not to mention this was one of the last songs for their set that night, no shit he won't sound perfect.
wtf is anyone bitching about this performance for? after multiple songs in full of insane high notes and intense screaming, this is damn impressive. just looking at how sweaty he was, he must have been completely wiped and out of breath. but he still persisted and hit every high note on each chorus. he's obviously not gonna sound his best after doing the energetic equivalent of running a marathon, but he did really damn well all things considering. you don't have to focus on sounding 100% perfect live. you just have to put on a good show and make sure the energy is there.
Because it always sounded this fucked up even if it was early set. He pitch shifted notes in post production he can't actually sing. Its why they dropped this sound and turned into a shit pop punk band
@organizations13th - what brought up jonny craig? craig owens was featured in this song, not jonny craig. he was in "dont jump the shark before you save the whale".
@Dudley3311 you've clearly never seen Incubus or Sigur Ros. The "stamina" that a singer has to keep hitting the notes is what sets the Great singers from the mediocre ones. This guy should try writing lower parts, that he can consistently hit live.
@soulsanctuarymusic10 He also has a really good overtone which makes it sound even higher, because i can hit the same note but it doesnt sound as high even tho it is.
Having some live & studio experience myself, it's usually not because the guy can't sing, but because due to stage fright and/or all the jumping around the stage, he has a way faster heartbeat, so it's harder for him to take a deep breath and to hold that breath, and when you don't have enough air support it gets really hard to nail the high notes. Not to mention bad monitors - you often can't hear your voice in the monitors, which makes you yell louder, which limits your range even further...
I don't doubt that the voice is corrected, but i'm not sure it's with autotune. It may be some sort of different editing software, as, that's what mixing and mastering is. Making sure everything sounds perfect.
@TheBach12345 i wouldnt doubt Alesana uses autotune, but when i saw them live, he was pretty spot on with the vocals. and are you sure Circa uses autotune?
FOR ALL THE VIEWERS OF THS VIDEO who is the most best headbangin drummer...although this is a stupid question please answer a: Matt Traynor,, here's the link b: Chaserr c or Broadway's drummer (I dont know his name) YOUR ANSWER WILL BE APPRECIATED!
and for my final and last coment i can say that even if the voice doesnt sound as good as in the album which is imposible it sounds really good he can hit all the notes not perfect but as high as in the albummm greaaaaaaaaat singer highest notes ive ever heard
@RandomPanda903 most likely the reason for off key is because he does not have a good enough monitor to hear the melody clearly. It happens alot of the time unless you have an in ear monitor which most professionals have. If he could be able to hear his voice, he would be able to correct it.
@drakozero8 i almsot agree. but, ive learned from a skylit drive that you have to actually see them before you can get a good opinion on how a band sounds. i hate the way they sound on youtube live. but, when i actually saw them, i came. everywhere. i think itd be interesting to see these guys.
I like broadway a lot. Micah does use an auto-tune but he uses it the right way. If you can't sing auto-tunes are worthless. As a matter of fact I can see his Anatares AVP auto-tune on the bass rig. I use one. That doesn't mean this band doesn't rock. And this song sounds good.
people dont understand how fucking hard performing is. on top of that the notes he has to hit are usually notes most performers would just stop and let the audience sing for them.
@65thekid There's of course this guy, Craig Owens (ex-Chiodos) now in Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows a.k.a. DRUGS, and Spencer Pearson of Decoder. They are all amazing live.
@chrisdadams123 totally agree haha when i had my band i could hit the notes easily but after a few songs it was hard for me what makes me think that if ure not going to be able to reach the notes then make em lower like the guy from bless the fall does.. he sings perfectly live because thats the tone of his voice and is not hard for him to do it
@hunterthemanvox Yeah their songs sound very similar. But there's still some that stand out from the others. i used to HATE the new Emarosa because of the huge change in sound, but i gave it a chance, granted i only like 2 of the songs on their new album, i decided to give credit to how truly talented Jonny Craig is.
@65thekid I see stars vocalist is amazing live. And the broadway dude is good live sometimes. I think he just has a lot of off nights because I've seen live performances on here where he does perfect.
@Dudley3311 Yes actually, you can. Periphery's vocalist was good on the Thrash and Burn Tour this year and he was spot on about 90% of the time. I watched videos of them live and he sounded horrible in them, but after seeing them live and hearing it for myself, I no longer use that method of prediction.
@65thekid I think you're missing the point lol. It takes days of vocal rest for a singer's voice to come back 100%. Even if he played a show the day the before or maybe even 2 days before, it can still affect this performance. It's not just the singing he did earlier this particular night.
@Phishiz Yes you are right, but they don't call it autotune, it's called pitch correction. But Broadway has a great vocalist. Touring will kill your vocal cords.
@TheBach12345 haha yeah i know that u didtn want to bash tham but i first reconized it when i read your comment the 2nd time and then my comment was already posted. alseana is one of my favourite bands too and i'll see them live in 8 days with ASD and emarosa, soooo stoked man :D
I remember seeing this band live a few times and this is honestly one of his best performances. He's singing in a lower octave for lots of parts but he still sounds pretty good. Especially considering how tough of a song this is to sing.
Mad respect!! Those notes are so fucking hard to hit and he’s flawless for a live performance. 🎉
Now you can see this album in full at WWWY 2024
Not on lineup
Ah, good times. Such a legendary performance
He hit the HIGHEST note in the chorus, give him some mad props!!!!!!!! you are stupid if you think this sucks, some of these other bands (asking alexandria being a favourite) are horrible live
Well i mean there is more to singing than just hitting a high note. Anyone can technically scream a high note, singing is about making your voice actually sound good. oo they are better live than i expected
People should know how difficult to sing live but for me Misha is a great Singer and Broadway is an AWESOME BAND!
@65thekid
Where can i find music from D.R.U.G.S or downloadable music
wow, the vocals are surprisingly really good
well being on tour, and going through full sets every other day. not to mention this was one of the last songs for their set that night, no shit he won't sound perfect.
dude the vocalist fascinates me. Hes got such a range, and no ones going to sound perfect.
this vid is great.they even have a pattern when they're headbanging
i love his #g6's they are always perfect!
is this a like a g6 reference, or chord?
@6Traceur thats why its such amazing song. they pushed themselves HARD on it and they nailed it. it shows how great they are.
how do you getotothat tone dude.... wtf? it hurts just thinking on me singing at that tone
wtf is anyone bitching about this performance for? after multiple songs in full of insane high notes and intense screaming, this is damn impressive. just looking at how sweaty he was, he must have been completely wiped and out of breath. but he still persisted and hit every high note on each chorus. he's obviously not gonna sound his best after doing the energetic equivalent of running a marathon, but he did really damn well all things considering. you don't have to focus on sounding 100% perfect live. you just have to put on a good show and make sure the energy is there.
Z Hancox plus, the microphone that recorded this sounds horrible, so that didn’t help either
Because it always sounded this fucked up even if it was early set. He pitch shifted notes in post production he can't actually sing. Its why they dropped this sound and turned into a shit pop punk band
Fairly this was the best version of hia vocals live Ive heard. There a lot of live versions of this that sound a shit ton wotse
@organizations13th - what brought up jonny craig? craig owens was featured in this song, not jonny craig. he was in "dont jump the shark before you save the whale".
❤ from Indonesia
I mean the notes are there. He just needs a lot more support and placement.
genre of them ?
This is so iconic
I miss Broadway so fucking much
vocals on this are fucking amazing.
this song is pretty sweet!
Does he use auto-tune live? I can´t really hear if he does. But if he isn't, maybe he should start :P
@Dudley3311 you've clearly never seen Incubus or Sigur Ros. The "stamina" that a singer has to keep hitting the notes is what sets the Great singers from the mediocre ones. This guy should try writing lower parts, that he can consistently hit live.
what the fuck are you on he hit the HIGHEST note in the chorus, give him some fucking props!!!!!
@soulsanctuarymusic10 He also has a really good overtone which makes it sound even higher, because i can hit the same note but it doesnt sound as high even tho it is.

holy crap haha. he has insane range.
@MajicBricksStudios No. The way autotune is used in their songs is for pitch correction, you can tell by how it tries to be subtle.
@65thekid anthony green?
for live and considering how high the notes actually are, i would say this is pretty damn good
I don't doubt that the voice is corrected, but i'm not sure it's with autotune. It may be some sort of different editing software, as, that's what mixing and mastering is. Making sure everything sounds perfect.
fuck yeah! this is awesome!
@dando222 I salute you, you can take a joke. More people need your good humor.
@65thekid shayley bourget from of mice & men-amazing in the studio and live :D
dont forget in a studio its edited to sound clean, and u can take breaks between each track recording.
@TheBach12345 i wouldnt doubt Alesana uses autotune, but when i saw them live, he was pretty spot on with the vocals. and are you sure Circa uses autotune?
he is the best rockband
does he have a mexistache?
@Benjaminoscreamo I also forgot to add Scott from in fear and faith and Shailey from Of Mice & Men
FOR ALL THE VIEWERS OF THS VIDEO
who is the most best headbangin drummer...although this is a stupid question
please answer
a: Matt Traynor,, here's the link
b: Chaserr
c or Broadway's drummer (I dont know his name)
YOUR ANSWER WILL BE APPRECIATED!
yeah, when they instruments are tuned down a whole octave
Yeah, he does on a handful of songs. But it sounds great.
4:19 "Sing it" I think it's a bit too high for everyone in audience. Just a bit.
I like the 'alternate' vocal melodies.
sick band!!
@65thekid I agree man. Kyle out of We Came As Romans was pretty good when i saw him, except his mic got unplugged haha.
damn this dude can singgg
He sounds pretty fucking good to be honest those notes are insanely tough
and for my final and last coment i can say that even if the voice doesnt sound as good as in the album which is imposible it sounds really good he can hit all the notes not perfect but as high as in the albummm greaaaaaaaaat singer highest notes ive ever heard
Tyler Carter is usually always spot on because he uses stage-monitor earbuds. Look into investing into a pair of those.
@RandomPanda903 most likely the reason for off key is because he does not have a good enough monitor to hear the melody clearly. It happens alot of the time unless you have an in ear monitor which most professionals have. If he could be able to hear his voice, he would be able to correct it.
@lukedemers okay maybe not EVERY note, but he does not use autotune and is easily one of the best singers out there right now
@drakozero8 i almsot agree. but, ive learned from a skylit drive that you have to actually see them before you can get a good opinion on how a band sounds. i hate the way they sound on youtube live. but, when i actually saw them, i came. everywhere. i think itd be interesting to see these guys.
@65thekid shayley from of mice and men doesnt use autotune and sounds pretty damn good.

I hadnt heard SWS before this
@TheBach12345 circa survive doesn't use autotune, anthony green hits every note live every time i have seen them
Matty Mullins. He's almost perfect.
@LastDimensionAMV . what do u mean! this is amazing! his vocals are great!
@XToTheCMusic I worked in a studio all last summer so, you're tight.
@BrainSeepsOut i completely agree.. why put it on the album if you can't pull it off live!
people dont understand how fucking hard performing is. on top of that the notes he has to hit are usually notes most performers would just stop and let the audience sing for them.
@65thekid There's of course this guy, Craig Owens (ex-Chiodos) now in Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows a.k.a. DRUGS, and Spencer Pearson of Decoder. They are all amazing live.
Its pretty hard to hit that high E flat anyways, its even harder to do it live.
Yaaa they came to my local place hangar 84 for those who say they auto-tune or anything like editing to hit those highs trust meh no no they do not
it isn't really hitting the notes that seems like the problem, its his pitching. Like his range is fine, unlike we came as romans or something

@65thekid Misha from Broadway! On this video! Are you deaf?! He's soooo good live!
I also like his flannel! :D
@65thekid Craig Owens back in the days of chiodos did great live and he has a really high voice.
@Dantemoz Well whatever, haha. Just was getting the whole castrated for higher voice thing out. It's a legit thing.
wtf are people smoking, this guy is very good live, and Im usually the first person to criticize bad live singers.
@65thekid I see stars vocalist is amazing live. And the broadway dude is good live sometimes. I think he just has a lot of off nights because I've seen live performances on here where he does perfect.
Vic Fuentes, Pierce the Veil. Best. Live. Performer. Ever.
@abstractrecordstudio Pretty much.
I'm worn out after shows, and I just don't want to make a sound.
@xdarkplaguex i listened TDWP live like a week ago and he was spot on with his vocals.
ASD is definatly not autotuned...listened to their albums. I've seen ASD in concert twice and he sounds the same.
@KSE828 me too :) and i agree completely.
@jjac15 everyone uses autotune. it's transparent and subtle but every person in this music scene uses it.
@TheBach12345 Touche. Well said. Lol @ the T-pain comment. He uses it ad-nausem, although I do like a little bit in music sometimes.
@dudley3311 i know what youre talking about i dah a band like this and it was reaaaally hard to keep reaching that notes after a few songs
@65thekid I think you're missing the point lol. It takes days of vocal rest for a singer's voice to come back 100%. Even if he played a show the day the before or maybe even 2 days before, it can still affect this performance. It's not just the singing he did earlier this particular night.
@s0nemore How the fuck is that a fail?! he nailed that note!
ANTHONY GREEN PUTS EVERY FUCKER DOWN
he fucks the crowd every time
trust me i've seen em live
like no other
@JoseGabrielDiazPerez tillian pearson , aaron gillipsie singer from woe is me (just adding to your list which i completly agree with )
@65thekid The singer of Sleeping With Sirens. Look up his acoustic of "If Im James Dean, You're Audrey Hepburn." You will be enlightened.
@detpistonsfan2011 pretty much a mixture. I go to concerts to form an opinion of the band in a way...
@Phishiz Yes you are right, but they don't call it autotune, it's called pitch correction. But Broadway has a great vocalist. Touring will kill your vocal cords.
@TheBach12345
haha yeah i know that u didtn want to bash tham but i first reconized it when i read your comment the 2nd time and then my comment was already posted.
alseana is one of my favourite bands too and i'll see them live in 8 days with ASD and emarosa, soooo stoked man :D
@65thekid Tyler Carter of Woe, Is Me.
you spelled dylan anderson wrong c:
@65thekid anthony green. nuff said
@LastDimensionAMV he doesnt use autotune.
i had no idea he didn't use autotune
