Most of the time it isn't fun I haven't conformed to the normal style of play in probably six years and im Cold War only and im alone 98% of the time it can be fun but rarely is due to constantly having to retreat back to your team cause they pushed to far and fast and got Splattered then you have the light tanks that no one knows how to lead shots on and there is always 3 or 4 of them the list could go on and on
This is spectacular, first the Obj 140 race won by the IS-7(!), then the JagPz E100 bouncing off the back, and lastly a full-speed snipe into the Concept 5. This is World of Tanks in 2023 people.
The "Lessons" from the Highway game (1) Keep an eye on the mini-map (2) Don't get too far out on a limb, on your own. (3) Remember !! Most of your team mates are Muppets

A tank become broken when it become so good that no tank cant compete and the tank isn't available for everyone. The only way u can get the tank by being a mindless muppet and raining money to the wg. Then the tank will be broke. Otherwise obj268v4, ebr105, is7, none of them are or was broken. Who's forcing you not to play with those tanks. Everybody has those.
I think it's great to see an IS-7 do this in matches. But the key is "the team". If they're not aware they have a fast meat shield to help them push in places they don't usually see help, they don't respond. Just like in the Highway map you played on.
It was a neat experiment with maxing out the IS-7’s speed. Games 1, 2, 4, and 5 were good examples of the pros and cons of doing so. Game 3 was an example of a complete team failure - players stopping at the first enemy tank being spotted - and then being afraid to have their interwebz tanks damaged, which was highlighted by the Progetto 66 player, “peepeestrike”, replying with “Negative” twice when Claus requested for help.
Appreciate the live play. My opinion: this strategy works if you have accurate snipers supporting you. Basically, if your team set up their tanks to maximize gun handling, this buildout and strategy balances them. But, if your team can't hit 5h1T or they hide, it won't work.
I think yes to both, in fact, i'm going to try your setup and approach and see what I can get/make happen....fresh point of view., also like the longer length of the video.
My IS7 is fairly fast, I can usually keep up with a 277, but the speed on Claus IS7 was awesome. That aim time though.....it was excruciating to watch and made physically ill to watch. We need more vids like this. The end was classic Claus.😂😂😂😂😂

Would a platoon like this had a big effect on the game? Yes! We do it all the time, 2xIS7 & 1x268/4 or full IS7 are brutal. You just come to the positions where you are not expected to be that quick, in most games opposite team is just stunned by it and puts them at halt. If there is not Lemming train on the opposite side, you win. Edit: On top of the "gun" dmg, there is also "ramming" dmg which is devastating.

Third game is a typical pub game - and one of the reasons I quit. I was not a stellar player (52% mainly non-turreted TD's) but I got so many useless teams it just got way too frustrating.
I think it help when someone moves up to grab those good hull down spots but it really depends on the rest of your team as well. If they just want to sit in the back and snip it doesn't really help.
Claus, love this live feature. I'd much rather see you in no b.s, no filter gameplay, than seeing you cover some great game another person played. More of the CC's should do it. thanks!~

I get it, but at what point does Claus look at the map & figure out what to do? There were multiple enemy Tanks at or near his Base before he fired a single shot. Instead of looking at the Map to see where the rest of his team is, he continued to push into city alone. He then blames his team for the demise of his Tank calling "THEM" Muppets. As a long time casual tier V ,free to play, I have learned to take a spotting/ sniping position. Clearing one area allows me to move forward except if I get surrounded.. then retreat.
The teamwork on that match was amazing. That battle line was so cool. You should do an episode on awesome battles where the team runs a beautiful sweep. Nice defense in the city, and the flank swings around.
When i'm bored and i'm in a platoon with friends, we get 3 IS7s built for speed and ramming, and we just fly down one flank of any map and never stop no matter what and we constantly shoot as we move and focus on ramming vehicles in front of us regardless of type. It's hilarious when 3 of us ram other heavy tanks in particular and see them get crushed to death just by being rammed 3 times straight.
I managed to work my way up the Russian Heavy Tank line to the IS-7 so I could play in clan wars. Wasn't the best player and my clan was always "this close" to winning. Should have called ourselves the "Get Smart" clan. Anyhow, I remember when the IS-7 was KING. And when playing, if you saw an IS-7 near you, the first thing you did was check to see how many teammates were near you, the second thing was where could I go to NOT be where the IS-7 was at. Ahhh, the glory days!
love this strategy- it's so fun... you can only imagine the frustration and comments the enemy is screaming at you xD) And yes more often it helps win... especially when you take it to the faster part of the map- as I have sped alongside fast mediums- they turn the turret and are like wtf??? give the barrel a nod and smile
6:30 I really admire how your teams Leopard and 705A help flatten your cap circle so the enemy have it much more comfortable should they ever decide to cap there. Glad to see there are still friendly and considerate players in this game 🤣
You may be able to mount high octane fuel. If not, Russian table can mount Removed Governor. I find naturally high horse power vehicles rarely get engine damage from the Removed Governor. Also helps if you try and only use it for inclines and anything to help get you moving. (you only pay 3000(?) silver if you use it. If never activated in a battle, you don't pay to reinstall it)
Nice to see you playing again. A strong push works if it hits a weak enemy flank. If you run into a strong defence then the strong push can just cost too many hit points...

The Strategy in flawless. But you are not playing alone. Most games you are with bots. For instance, first game 4 tanks were at your base sitting there doing nothing, instead of pushing the other flank.
I play like that claus and it indeed help the team win but my wn8 is always average, but selfless sacrifice help the team win and pump up wn8 of sweat players

The top gun on the tier 5 flak bus (aka toaster) weight so much that you can get an extra 2hp/t by using the 2nd top gun (as well as having better dpm and much wider gun arc).
Love this experiment. The game in town was funny as that happens all the time that your team just camps. Think this good strategy for clan battles when people actually coordinate. I have a request Claus, can you try this with a TOG? Thanks
The art of holding W. Is-7 is one of the greatest, but can be better with the bounty turbo. Personally, I prefer using a spall liner for the ramming fun, and arty protection.
@claus kellerman You need to remake this video with Removed Speed Governor, Lend Lease Oil, and a large repair kit. It will give you an additional 15% horse power. 1,605.4 HP and 23.47 Specific Power. Gets even better with purple turbo, or Improved Mobility System T3 (maxed out Experimental Equipment) its a cross between a turbo and a rotation device, improves topspeed, horsepower, while decreasing dispersion on the move
An easier way to compare builds of a tank is to put say four columns of the same tank in the 'compare' list, each column with its own equipment, then easily compare all the results on one page.
I think the rammer and vents or vertical stabilizer are much util for this tank. You can ad, alternative turbo or hardening depending on match making. My opinion. Nice games anyway. Greeatings.

I also find it odd the artys are after a heavy tank they never targeted heavies back in the day they always went for the squishy targets and now with high explosives being nerfed they target a heavy they must know the account name
nope as a Rule heavys are slower 8 out of 10 games in the face of other heavys so arty gets stun damage most of the artys have had the gun and round nerf so its always a lucky shot to get good damage so what artys left with is stun damage

You forgot to use removed speed governor consumables, while activated it adds 10% to engine power.

Before they limited the number of arty, I played in a battle with 5 on each side. Pure Hell! I wish they would limit to 1 per battle, per side.
I thought it was WG's intention to limit arty to one per side for most regular games. Doesn't seem to be the case.

Hardening is effectively a heat treatment for the vehicles metals which makes it stronger but doesnt increase its weight.

I'm an overly aggressive player at times so I like seeing someone else being aggressive. It's a lot more fan than the camping sitting a bush games.
Vents improves your ground resistance so it does make you faster on terrain
