International Cultural Evening 2022

On April 29, 2022, the International Cultural Evening 2022, a nationality festival for students attending the University of Szeged, was held in the Szeged City Sports Hall. More than 2,500 people took part in the event, which was funded by the Albert Szent-Györgyi Faculty of Medicine and co-organized with the International Student Union of Szeged.
Representatives of 22 countries - foreign students of the Faculties of the University of Szeged - held national music and dance performances in the framework of a cultural show, and then guests could taste their own traditional national food and drinks at their stands.
The aim of the evening is for our students to get to know, understand and accept each other's culture, to show the characteristics of their country and to give a taste of their national values. It’s magical to see, hear how enthusiastic they are about each other’s production, and it’s a joy to feel that world peace is coming in this university environment.
Countries presenting the stand:
Brazil, Cameroon, China, Egypt, Germany, Hungary, India, Iran, Japan, Jordan, Norway, Mauritius, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Sudan, Turkey, Yemen, Vietnam.
In addition to university leaders, lecturers and students, ambassadors of the diplomatic missions of the participating countries in Hungary were also invited to the private event.
