Ukraine is one of my favorite countries in Eurovision, they always delivers epic entries. Unfortunately MARUV did not represent Ukraine in 2019. After a huge scandal the country decided to withdraw its participation. This performances was held during the National Selection.
What was the scandal. I've heard the reason they've withdrew is because of the conservatives of that country clutched thier pearls so hard that it was outrages.

As soon as MARUV won the National Selection, the organizers asked her to cancell all of her concerts in Russia, if not, she wouldn't be allowed to represent Ukraine at Eurovision. MARUV refused to do that so she was disqualified. The organizers asked to the runner up to replace her, and the runner up refused too. Actually, all the contestants refused to do it, supporting MARUV's decision. That's why the country took the dramatic decision to withdraw the participation.

She canceled her participation in Eurovision, when her record company had refused to allow Maruv to give the rights to Siren Song to Eurovision, as it must be done for all participants of Eurovision. Maruv was at difficult choice to participate in Eurovision, or pay huge penalty to her record company.

It's not a true statement. Ukraine did not do it. Maruv herself withdrew, she realized she could have a problem with her record company since that company has rights on her songs including and Siren Song. So she could be in trouble to pay a lot of money for not obeying that music rights. All these lies about political issues are simple information war of Russian trolls against Ukraine. As you know Kremlin is continuing the war against Ukraine in the East of Ukraine. Information war is a part of this war against Ukraine. Starting from 2016 every year you can observe severe attack on any participant of Eurovision from Ukraine ( against Jamala, Melovin, Maruv, Go A) in social media. This was a work of Russian troll factories.
MARUV is my favorite Ukrainian singer, I definitely wouldn't have won Eurovision, but what a show I would have given if it hadn't been canceled. Reacts more to Mylène Farmer, ♥ ️.
I think it was pretty chance to won Eurovision in 2019, but I don’t regret she was withdrawn, because Ukraine is much more important to me then silly victory.

MRUV is just an unrealistically wonderful person, she earns a lot of money, but at the same time she is so simple, in the frame she looks like a goddess, and maybe even pathetic, but in life she is so cute, if you look at at least a few of her interviews or her blog and fall in love. And she sings constantly without a phonogram, her voice is just a waste, and her choreography is just wonderful. I like her very much because she is a wonderful person, and everything didn't fall down just like that, she went 10 years before that. Her hits are heard all over the world. Her position in life is great, now young people should take an example: She does not bow to anyone, always positive (she is really very energetic and funny, her jokes are priceless), not afraid of answers, very worried about the environment, and in general she is vegan, too she writes tracks, producer and screenwriter, respects her pedigree, does not mow under anyone. And she is from Ukraine. This is very short about her, because you can write for a very long time)
