Thanks for this, Shonagh! I did a similar look last week for a concert night and I was definitely guilty of applying way too much black base ahaha When I realized it wasn't gonna be a soft smoky eye, I went all in and applied a turquoise shimmer shadow on top of the cream and white multireflects glitters. I received so many compliments on the look, but again, not what I had originally planned to do 😂
Haha, this made me giggle Eleonora! We can all get a bit carried away now and again but it sounds like you smashed it out of the park on the come-back there! I love the sound of your creation.
@@ShonaghScott Summer is definitely the time when I tend to get carried away the most, now that I think about it. I feel way more inspired to play with colors and textures. A couple of months ago, I bought a glitter palette by Nabla because I found it on sale and thought "Oh well, even if I'll wear it just a couple of times it'll be ok, I can gift it to someone else". But then I applied one of the shades for a show (I sing in a band) and immediately fell in love with the sparkles! I had never worn glitters and as the first experience, I have to say it was amazing. Of course I haven't been able to put that palette down ever since haha
thank you so much for this tutorial! my eye shape is similar as yours so I've been anticipating more and more tutorials from you although I love your videos in general! you're gorgeous and sweet!
Ahh, thank you for the kind words, Ligia! And it's definitely handy when you find someone with a similar eye shape as then you know you're more likely to succeed with that particular look.
Yes! Just make sure when you're blending that you are looking straight ahead of you into a mirror to make sure you can see that colour above the hood when the eye is open.
Haha, I promise you they're easier to work with than you think - just go subtly. Notice how I didn't cover the entire eyelid from the bullet, I just scribbled along the lash line and then buffed it upwards, that way I didn't have too much to blend in. And always keep a towel next to you that you can clean the bristles of your brush in the middle of blending. It saves you blending in circles and getting nowhere if you've applied too much shadow, this will allow the bristles to continue to pick up any excess shadow and then you can efficiently continue blending. Hope that makes sense?
I love how you used the arrows in your demo. Super helpful😊 it came out so pretty
Best on-point smokey eye explanation everrr!
Thank you!!!
Thank you for this tutorial, especially for using the arrows!! It really helped. Loved how simple this look is to achieve. Thanks again ☺
You're so welcome! I appreciate the feedback as I also find diagrams really help to emphasise what I'm explaining.
Hello Shonagh! Thank you so much! I really love a smokey eye, since ever ... thank you! Have a lovely week!

Thank you so much, Jani!! Where are you from?
Loving this look, need to try it 🥰
Hope you enjoy recreating it!
Can I use a wing shaped eyeliner with this look, or do you think that might be too much?
You absolutely can! I think it's quite intense as it is but if you're used to wearing a winged liner, certainly add it on!
@@ShonaghScott thanks! ❤
Love it 😍
Thank you! 😊
Very pretty 😀
Thank you! 😊
Will this work for hooded eyes?
Yes! Just make sure when you're blending that you are looking straight ahead of you into a mirror to make sure you can see that colour above the hood when the eye is open.
Where can I but that eye pen?
That's lovely, but I can see me getting into a right royal mess with a black cream shadow. I'll have a go when I'm staying at home all day 😃.

Thanks for the hint and tips Shonagh. Will have a go 👍.
You have beautiful lashes. No need to wear falsies💖

Can you rock in the day??
Why not! If you enjoy wearing it in the day, go for it.
