This show is a rare portrayal of a heartwarming, innocent, and arguably realistic love story involving lgbtq characters. It's really a gem amongst an endless pile of rushed and forced romances with a lot of noncon/dubcon scenes/tropes, which is quite unfortunate. Things like forced kisses and rushed romances are such popular tropes in lgbtq portrayals that it can lead to harmful biases (even if they're for comedic purposes). Shows like Kieta Hatsukoi normalizes lgbtq relationships and make them out to be just like any regular hetero relationships.
This show gives me hope that we'll have more of these good and positive lgbtq relationship portrayals in the future.

All the latest dramas are like that, at least the ones I watched (cherry magic and to my star for example)
If you like that, I highly recommend Heartstopper!! Its very similar in its innocence
Can we just all agree how this entire series screams green flag? From their friends, to their teachers (except for that one), and to them.
I like that one teacher existing. Not everyone immediately accepts everything. I like that he eventually got to a place where he tried to understand.
