Thanks for this upload! Can someone tell me the name of the two parts that are being disconnected at 6:53 ? I cracked mine during disassembly the rear and need to replace them both. Thank you in advance!
Is it possible to separate and replace just the top glass of the screen, mine is shattered but the display is still intact and functioning. Thank you for your help.
Hi, it's a difficult task. You should have set special skills and tools. We have a video as an example, not a tutorial check here th-cam.com/video/6wwRu5bvqLI/w-d-xo.html
Hi, there is no way to do this. All types of repair should be performed after display removing. The manufacturer did not give us a chance to do it in another way.
Well I ordered all the things I needed from Amazon and got up the very first corner as shown in your video and now my screen is flashing lightning-like lights all over it. Is there anything I can do?
Its on the front bezel, tucked on the right side. There's a little connector which wraps up underneath the backing plate. Its easy to tear when removing the rear backing plate. Notice in the vid at the 4:12 mark the red arrows in the upper left, that's where the ribbon is located but unseen since its located on the flipside. At the 5:32 mark when he flips the Tablet, look at his LEFT THUMB, there you'll see part of it with the 5 little gold dots, the rest like I said is wrapped around and along the side where the push buttons are. If you buy a replacement ribbon you must reuse the thin metal bracket the holds the buttons in place. Remove the old damaged ribbon from the bracket (I used a razor blade) then peel the tape off the replacement ribbon and stick it back on the bracket. It must stick perfectly in place (peel the tape then use two paper clips/sewing needles though the guide holes to align it before you glue it down) or the buttons will not make proper contact. Reassemble in reverse order.
Thank you for the thorough video. Finally repaired my tablet.
hi...what is the connector for shown at 6:58 / 11:25.....i broke it when i removed back but tablet seems to be working fine without it.???...thanks

Hi, if I'm not mistaken, it is a Hall sensor.
@@Vrm24com Thanks for the confirmation. Now I will try to get the parts online.
If the lcd is good can u replace the glass only for SM T-819 Samsung tab s2?
Hi, thank you so much for the video. One stupid question, how do I glue back the screen section? Thanks
Hi, it is a critical question for the assembly. Better to use an original kind-of-gasket tape, but you can buy a sealant B7000. It works well too.
Super cool
At 7:10, where does this end connects to?
Connects to the Unit Sensor-Hall IC (Hall sensor).

Can you post or address a tutorial on how separate such shattered glass from the digitizer?...
Thanks.
