Finally a colourist who is sticking to one book. I didn’t like the prismacolor blender, it kept on lifting my colour up, that I had layered down, started using the Caran D’Ache blender and it is perfect for blending my Prismacolor pencils, great results. Hey Julie, I have a question. I've done all of your color alongs for Joanna's books and Eriy's books since 2017. I've only colored books by those 2 artists and I'm just starting this book. The paper is quite different, the tooth of the paper I think? Are you applying more, less or same pressure when you're coloring this one compared to JB and Eriy's? I'm using prismas too and I just wanted to double check with you before I totally mess this up. 😁 I normally get the same results as your finished pictures but I'm not to sure if I'm coloring this one right.
When the season comes would you do a picture from 'Nice Little Town Christmas 2' or the other Christmas book she has where there are pictures of the mice at the back of the book.

Or did you copy the flimsy coloring book version onto better quality paper? This book doesn't say who the printer is, feels like Create Space Paper.Wouldn't have gotten it if the illustrations weren't so Darn Adorable!! I know a lot of coloring books are being made on that Create Space Paper. :( Wish the paper was more like Johanna or Klara Markova , or Hanna Karlzon. Gladly pay more for better thicker paper--- but anyway!!! Your paper looks like it's thicker than the coloring book I have. Just curious, if you have a free moment, please let me know?
That's because you are a phenomenal artist! You could probably use MUD on a sheet of paper towel and make it GORGEOUS!!! I love this book, the illustrations are just sooooooooo cute. I am a beginner colorist so I am going to blame my cruddy coloring on the paper!!! LOL!
You have made it easier to choose the colours used in shading. I try not to choose exact same colour as yu have used forcing myself to think it out. Thanks. Is there a #2 + 3 vidio of this same picture?

No I don’t have the special edition... but I don’t mind if the quality is bad, with prismacolor pencils I can color on everything... even bad paper 😉
