Les Forges de Montreal present to you their limited series of 7 videos to make you discover Quebec's traditional artists and their link with traditional blacksmithing.
In this third episode, meet Alexandre Maquet, a stonecutter who has worked on restoration projets such as the Louvre and Ottawa's parliament. From stonecutting techniques to a touching testimony on the importance of our heritage, discover this traditional craft and its links with forging in this interesting episode! Heritage is like a library preserving the history of our communities; we can learn enormously if we pay attention to it.
