Just discovered these guys two hours ago on a Facebook post covering Donald Fagens I.G.Y from the Nightfly. Things got even better when I came across this rendition of Black Cow. Without bleating on, I.G.Y is fantastic, but Black Cow is incredible. One thing that struck me was the range of ages and generations all working together in a respectful professional way, speaking a timeless language with absolutely no barriers or prejudices. No one's too old or too young. They just compliment each other in an atmosphere of respect and joy. I suppose this is the way music really works. All walks of life, all ages coming together in order to mitigate the stresses of life. These guys are simply brilliant. I'm on the hunt for their next live performance. I'll definitely be there. Wonderful. This rendition is incredible. From the next room it sounds like the real McCoy. Donald Fagen would be proud.

Incredibly good. The composition of SD songs continues to amaze me, having bought their first albums in the '70s. Not only did Becker and Fagen write good music, they arranged the musicians to achieve perfection. Bach, Beethoven et al did not do this!
