This cutscene was awesome but unfortunately by this point I was expecting something this dark when I entered the point of no return... The only reason I joined Ward was because I liked Colonel Korshunov and look what happened... Like the video and subscribe! I hope to reach 36k subs by the end of the year!
Funny enough, of the four endings this one is probably the least bleak. Strelok makes the zone a prison and makes you realize that Strelok is basically a sociopath this whole time and we probably should have realized that in Shadow of Chernobyl. Skif's Ending causes Zones to appear all over the world and whatever horrors those will create and the destruction that'll bring. Scars Ending is... Scar's Ending... The Ward's ending gets rid of the zone. And playing through the whole game I sort of realized that while the zone has a sort of beauty to it, it had overstayed its welcome. The fact SIRCAA could now just *make* the artifacts in a lab adds to it that the Zone is just a place now. Sure there's now a new "Big Brother" bit with spying, but you could argue that that stuff already occurs. It's just another at this point lol
The word ending is literally the worst ending other than maybe scars ending. Agatha if I interpreted the story correctly I believe the doctor said it actually, it’s part of the group that was funding C consciousness scientists. I trust strelok to keep anyone from controlling the zone and I see his ending as him sacrificing himself.
The thing is, there are no real true good or bad endings like you would get in other games. The ward ending is kinda neutral - yes, from one hand there is the underlying theme of control, but from the other hand the zone is gone, and there will be a lot of scientific advances from all of it. But its definitely not a bad ending.
I just don't understand how people can call the ward ending anything other than bad. Like dude, you made the entire WORLD worse, and for what? So you could destroy an admittedly dangerous place that has already been mostly isolated from the world at large? The zone wasn't affecting anyone other than those who chose to venture into it (at least it wasn't until sircaa started poking it) Strelok and skif's endings are the only ones that can really be called neutral. With strelok isolating the zone completely and skif's ending having so many implications on the wider world.
@afaxmachine5045 I would argue Strelok's is a bad ending. He turns it into a prison. Has Monolith as his private army. Threatens to kill anyone who tries to enter or leave. You stand there at the end, unable to exit, realizing you bet on the wrong horse.
@afaxmachine5045 skifs ending is the obviously worst one, creating more of those deadly abominations that is the zone. the ward one is semi-good in that you harness the power of the zone without its negative side effects. strelok is neutral. a huge prison that will certainly result in governments around the world sending their criminals and political prisoners there for 'safe keeping'
@@Grimno i agree, but if you are aiming for the same goal as the colonel (to destroy the zone and its danger) then its the ending that gets you closest to that without any of the dystopia that the ward ending brings.
@@TheLoki7281 have you even seen the endings? no one gets IN or OUT of the zone in strelok's ending, and the ward ends up monitoring the entirety of humanity in their ending, you cant call an ending where you help establish an eternal dystopia "semi-good". skif's ending is the only truly neutral ending, the only known result is the creation of multiple zones across the planet, but without the X-LABS and the influence of the C-Consciousness its hard to say for sure what those zones will really be like, especially with Skif's influence over the noosphere.

bootlicker ending
this ending give the impression that you helped in building a distopian world

Ward is Arasaka ending
Strelok wants the Zone to heal and stabilize it until he probably releases it like Skif (with less chaos ig?) because the Zone wants to expand.

This ending will be better if Skif and Agatha had #ex scene. It will be really bad ending.

Colonel is such a chad, it's such a shame.
"one last step for a spent man, one giant leap for mankind"
Best ending, Skif got a new place.
That is one way of putting it...
This is why the colonel is the best character in stalker 2, he's so anti woke that in his ending he saves the world by going to sleep
Well, Spark's ending is maybe sadder one out of them all
my name is john woke
I love this game
Me too
But it's woke 😪😪😪
@@SaintRonnie360 Why would anyone say that?
@SigmaCaesar they got the Scar ending where skif lives in a WOKE delusion
@@SaintRonnie360 Wydm this game is woke? It's quite the opposite!
ward is bad, prove me wrong bois
A very non-WOKE ending, I like it a lot.
