This very serious and sad. Please police act professionally and treat people with that humanity. To the police command retrain your officers to handle situations like that professionally or else the world will keep on laughing at our police and condemn our police as the waste police in the world. It's very shameful. Be serious with your work.we all depend on you as Zambians.

It is very sad the experience you went through al Midland Hospital. If an MP in Zambia can be treated like that, then the commoners (public) will be treated worse than Hon. Banda. All police officers need further training how to interact with the community. When will our police officers act like police officers in developed countries after almost 60 years of self independent.

Your response is one of the most rational ones because it highlights what most people seem to either be oblivious about or simply prefer to overlook - the conduct of the police.
People should put aside all the political partisanship and attach a bit of humanity to how things played out at Medland. The police were very aggressive, agitative, argumentative, etc, towards someone who was a PATIENT, not a CRIMINAL.
From the sister's narrative and some of the few videos available, the police conduct bordered on the thuggish.
The higher ranked ones could have handled this better by at least allowing the Medland medical personnel to give him some degree of medical care and then diplomatically talking to his family about the necessity of moving him... AFTER the scans, etc. But budging in an emergency room by force and forcibly removing somebody who has not committed a crime is simply egregious and really, appalling.
I would challenge anybody to be rational if they were to witness any of their family members being treated like that.

We should learn to trust the police, they are there to protect us. Let us learn to trust the police. It looks like the focus is on the police. Let the police do their thing.

This is really sad. Heavenly Father, we surrender everything unto you. May the haters never find peace in this life and beyond. May they reap a hundred times what they have planted unless they confess to everything they have done to JJ. JJ is someone's child, therefore may their children pass through worse things than what JJ has passed through.I release brimstones of fire to reign upon all the haters of JJ. May their victory be shortlived because true victory is in Jesus Christ. May the spirit of confusion overtake all his haters. May they be exposed and consumed by the Holy Ghost fire in the Mighty Name of Jesus Amen and Amen

Let me get something right here. JJ is an MP meaning he us not an ordinary person. He was abducted, which is a police case. How in this world is government through the police expected to act towards a government employee? Sometimes, we create problems for ourselves. Yes, the treatment was not good. But isn't that because there was obstruction to police duties.
