I don’t like Riley at all because she all ready has everything she has a family she has friends she has everything that Maya never really had except friends and I feel like Maya deserved better and let’s face it rucas isn’t the best ship because like Maya I thought Riley and Lucas were more like brother and sister Maya deserved more and that’s why I shipped lucaya maya was the one that saw Lucas 1st maya was the one who had to step aside and give up so Riley could be happy Riley is selfish and jealous and maya is trust worthy and dependable because she stepped back for Riley for almost 2 seasons but Riley stepped back for Maya for two days and then got jealous do you see what’s happening Maya is taken for granted by Riley and that’s why I hate Riley she doesn’t deserve Lucas she never did but she still got him I don’t know why the writers decided this but they made a mistake a big mistake keep this in mind Maya is broken Riley is already a sky scraper that keeps getting taller.......... Lucas even told riley that she said that. I don't think that maya would've been like Riley. She probably would've told him that he chose the wrong one and nog because that's true. Because she is not a bad friend. I just think riley has everything and maya nothing. Is that fair? No! The writers just made a terrible mistake in my opinion.

There is no fucking doubt lucaya should’ve been endgame they had so much undeniable chemistry and they were perfect for each other there were so many signs and looks that showed maya did like him and he liked her calling her the blonde beauty when talking about her when he was on the phone to zay and his face was so disappointed when they were at the bay window and she was covered in purple paint and said she was choosing Riley for him and the writers messed up massively with the whole maya trying to be Riley like that’s so stupid and not true at all anyway rant over, Lucas and maya were meant to be together and Riley and farkle should’ve been together end of. x recommend to anyone who sees this to watch a video along the lines of “maya and Lucas lucaya evolution” there might be two parts x it’ll warm your lucaya heart it shows all their moments together from every season

When I saw Maya saying to Lucas to go find Riley and tell her he loves her I literally cried!😢 I mean, Maya always stepped back since day one. She makes fun of Lucas 'cause she likes him. And she makes fun of him basically since day one! In my opinion, Rucas is just a kid crush! I honestly think that Maya has really deep feelings for him instead. Besides, they have more chemistry. Lucas decided to "almost kiss" Maya! LUCAS did! Instead of Riley. Riley was always following Lucas! Riley kissed Lucas! RILEY did! I hate a lot the fact that she always gets everything. I know it's her world but I'm so sorry for Maya. She wanted one thing! Maya's always the one who has nothing and Riley the one who has everything! That's not fair at all!
Edit: it's been 2 years since I posted this comment and now I see things a little differently. Needless to say, no one decides who people fall for, but I do believe that, if Maya had to be with somebody, it shouldn't have been Lucas because Maya deserves someone who truly loves her and not loves her but also loves someone else.
And besides, I don't think what Maya always wanted was a boyfriend. In fact, I think that it was a little easier (not that easy but ya know what I mean) for her to give up Lucas, not only because she wanted Riley to be happy (this, we all know), but also because everything she always wanted was a family. And she got one. And she's happy that way.

I have a feeling they were gonna have Rucas date and then josh would visit and he would tell mya that he was going out with someone, and while that’s technically ok because they said they could do that, she wasn’t hurt. Therefor mya realising it wasn’t josh, it was Lucas. Then Riley finds out and maybe actually being a good friend for once steps back and she knows that if Lucas picks Maya then Rucas wouldn’t have worked out anyways. But there was no season 4🙄
