Much respect to Seton Hall and Indiana State for accepting bids to the NIT when they were both worthy of a tournament bids. I'm also not a fan of the NIL but to my knowledge no one opted out of the tournament. If that starts happening it would be the beginning of the end of college basketball.
NIL has changed the game. It's going to take a younger mindset for a coach. One that's grown with online and social media while in their formative years. Coach Dan Hurley is the perfect mold for the current coaching job. A mix of both old time with the intuition needed for this new NIL/online recruiting.
I think there has to be a commitment on both ends. I think the players should get paid plus NIL. The player has to have an obligation. To me the players after one year gets a chance to transfer. That choice he or she makes then has to stay at the institution for 2 years. After 2 years they can transfer again
The Dan Hurley shoutout was so random lol.
@@fieldsy6642 did you listen to the entire clip? Silly lol
