It's not about how many interruptions you need, but how to use the ones you have. On the first game you could have used crossout instead of ash, so you have ash for the opponent turn for an additional interaction. Also banishing the summon of aleister instead of the field would make him commit more resources. And when you summon mikkalis if you are toggle on you can use the effect on resolution instead of waiting for opponent to act. It's tiny things like this that add up and can decide the match :)
I agree mostly, but using crossout instead of ash on maxx-c is greedy imo, ash only defends against maxx-c, but crossout can hit all kinds of stuff as long as you also play the card. If the opponent is playing any type of competitive deck you should expect to see 2 hts on average. Edit: like for example imperm, if the opponent impermed kasp, you essentially end on nothing, that's a huge risk. Also should've set that crossout.
He’s right to some degree but some top tier decks like Yubel can end on 6+ negates and unless you’ve got the heart of the cards it’s almost impossible to win lol.

Cuz sadly rogue decks die to one ash or imperm :(. But in his case, if he set crossout would be better too but he left in the hand so it was a dead card anyway.
If youre still looking for a halloween deck, you can do Wights and Skull Servents. They have milling support in the recent selection pack; so you can spend your gems from the DC on that to guarantee good pulls towards skeletons and lightsworns for a milling deck.

I use Blue Eyes in every one of these events and always hit the mark in a day or 2 at Max depending how busy work is. Your better off choosing a deck,stick with it, learn its strengths and weaknesses and learning how you can use the commonly played decks in the format to your advantage.
Remember, its best to activate returnia after you xyz summon because it'll give returnia a second banish. Going first, Exosister completely cooks Swordsoul. You did extremely well in thet duel 👍.

@@dracocardz you can only activate quick play spells from your hand when it's your turn, this happened during the opponent's turn so he couldn't activate it at all unless it was set. Quick play spells can't also activate on the turn they're set just like a trap does

yugioh is really more "who has the best cards" more than it is about skill at this point. i have a main with snake eye fire king and i have another two accounts with rogue decks. the snake eye deck has made it to 2nd stage and got me into top 1000 players ranking-wise but the other decks, my mathmech and runick can barely compete with some of these crazy engines
Any zombie deck can be Halloween themed. I just finished a skull serverant deck. So many different zombie decks you could make. The next event should be a duel trial.That usually follows the cups.
For branded alot of their cards was released in waves so old players was able to piece it up cards by cards instead of trying to make the whole thing in one go which gets really really expensive real quick, personally i don't even play branded but since their archetypes often appears in selection pack for the past year somehow already have a near built branded deck without even trying
Infinite impermanence row negation only works on spell and traps. Cheapest "good" decks I can think of is ninja (you can buy 3 structure decks) or swordsoul if you have the structure deck.
Dawg I barely to 17. They were dawging by cheeks(no diddy). At this point I’m not hitting 18(no krillin). Also I started considering stun cause of this duel cup 😭
I don't remember my Ghostrick deck being expensive, I think it was all from one pack. They aren't really top tier material but they're a really fun archetype and can be pretty overwhelming given the right board. Vendread is another good spooky option, maybe a bit more spooky than good but it still there.
Just a fun idea for a spooky deck - I'm playing Skull Servant/Wight next month because the new Wight Lord card makes it actually a LOT of fun to play, and since it's a goofy seasonal deck you don't need to stress over pounding the meta with it.
My favorite deck to play during October is beetrooper w/ scary moth stun. It's not that powerful, but landing the combo feels awesome, plus the scary moth feels appropriate for the spooky season. 🐝👻
I was going to suggest skull servants! I threw together a deck with tearlaments and got through 17 and 18 with it. Now I want to refine it to use on ladder next season

I got stuck on lvl 16 for two days. I had a number of duels against people going for 10 minute solitare plays and going for FTK or doing some kind of lock by putting something on the field after they finish their endboard that just stops me from special summoning even if i somehow break the board. I leveled down too then i just decided that the 400 gems aren't worth. I think the choice to make it 3 wins in a row just brings out the worst decks from people with money or endless time to get gems. And Funny you should say branded, i litreally started playing ms last month(and playing yu gi oh after a few years) and for some reason i decided i'll do branded. i had 10k gems and i could make maybe like half a deck(bricky 40 card version), i spent 10k more after saving up and its still technically not complete, I still need to make a few more URs. I don't have have 3 maxx 'c' crafted, i have one just as a crossout target. Making 3 is a lot of UR and i just feel disgust using UR on maxx c, no matter how good it is. All i'm gonna say is good luck with the pulls and saving up because its really UR hungry.

Chalice is one of the cards in the Structure Deck that’s why I say this Well a Zombie Deck u could try for is Golden Boy Eldlich is a good one my friend loves, and it does really well especially when u pair it up with Zombie World and DoomKing Balerdoch. U can get a bunch of the Zombie monster necessary in the Structure Deck so I’d say go for that so u don need to waste Gems, tho if u choose to do Eldlich you’d have to do the pack for him specifically
Your doing alright man. Only certain player types are gonna make it all the way. Either you use the top 3 or 4 decks which all have 50% of the main/extra deck the same, or people that just run stun with lots of solemns. Only advise is just learn the decks your playing against. That way you know what to stop with your negates when.
I finally just made it to Max with Tearlaments. Really started the grind 3 days ago. And 19 was horrible. 1 derank and got the final fight to get to max 4 times :') This is my first time getting to Max and I'm pretty proud of that though. One of them was amazing. I had evenly in hand. Entered battle. Left battle. Entered main 2. Turns out I was toggled off :') Big skill issue.
I was able to make it to DLV. Max with Swordsoul again, but I'm not gonna lie it feels like it's getting harder and harder to climb with a rogue deck because of power creep.
A spooky themed deck for october I would like to propose is Blackwing. It has a structure deck, which gives you a lot of the cards already (you need to get all 3), and beyond that you only need staples and some cards to build sth viable. Given you like it, you can of course invest more into it, but its not necessary to be playable. It is however 1 of those combo decks which (hate the earth insect) take some time to understand the lines, but you played springans so you should be fine.
Don’t give up you can do it most of of the sweats are in stage 2 so it should be easier right now. I recently made to stage to for first time too so I believe you can too
Can’t wait for u to play branded. That shit is by far your best deck your going to have as far as climbings concerned. It’s going to be hard asf for u at first tho it’s also way harder than all ur other decks and has way more lines

Tenpai Dragon is coming according to the leaks. If it's not expensive try building that next month. That said I like seeing lower powered decks as well but you were also planning on building branded so... I'd go with Tenpai instead. If you want to play a themed halloween deck, I'd recommend starting a new account instead of wasting your resources on your main account. A new account you should be able to farm enough gems in 2-3 hours to build any deck you want. If you like the deck you can build it on your main. Also to build a deck from Packs you probably need around 10K gems 7K if you're lucky and 14K if you're unlucky. You were never going to build Branded with 3K gems!
I hit max but I play pure Tears. My last 3 games to max were FKSE, Yubel, and Stun. Honestly when playing a rogue deck you just gotta pray they brick and make mistakes. I wouldn’t have made it if it wasn’t for the very tiny mistakes my opponents made. I think playing exosisters though, it’s a lot harder than playing anything tier 3 and up. lol
I got stuck at level 18, I had too many voiceless voice and yubel, and simply I can’t push with swordsoul, protos not good if I go first 😩 because when I did and used him first it was against voiceless voice 😂😂 and they all light
Don't feel bad. I also stopped at 16. Did manage to hit 17 but went on a losing streak right after. Kept getting terrible hands, running into stun, meta and Ftk decks. I ran into The transaction Rollback ftk deck 4 times in this Duelist cup. After de ranking, i just gave up and went back to rank. The meta decks i can take but stun and ftk should not exist.
Play some spirits like Sakitama and Aratama, You can also Squeeze in a Kaiju like Lava golem to help with going 2nd. I would also rather have Triple Tactics Trust and Triple Tactics Talents rather than Cross-out. for better advantage. And make any handtrap 2 of or less.
I collect all of the exosister cards But I have a hair time to learn how to play the deck. The cards that I want to get in real life Just to have but not to play with is the exosister and Witchcrafters.
dont go for branded, its probably the most expensive deck in the game currently (i need 600 UR dust to finish mine lol), id wait for the next bp for UR dust and save 10k gems to try go for it, in the meantime id say vaalmonica, floo, swordsoul (with the free structure deck + some cards) are pretty cheap
yeah I'm at level 18 with my Umi Controll but ever time I get to a rank up match to go to 19 I just hit a losing streak with totally unplayable hands or my opponent opening super cracked and negating every playable card I have.
Some advise if I may? From watching your videos I think you need to be a little bit more patient with your interruptions. You tend to take your opponent’s bait alot ,so I suggest waiting a little bit more until your opponent commits to a big play before using your interruptions.
I build decks with patience really, I have build a lot of 60 card piles by building some other deck, dismantling bad pulls and spending the crafting mats on these expensive decks
Here me out konami is actually trying to help u win when u pull maxx c when you're about to lose. Maxx c resolving has a high win rate when it resolves so they trying to hook you up but they don't know the context 😂
I was playing Lab recently and just fluctuate between 17 and 18, half of my matches I would brick and just scooped or my opponents had every card needed to thwart my plans and I was gonna lose anyway. Crimson dragon needs to be banned
Lol, I somehow managed to reach lvl 19 with an obsolete deck like Swordsoul. Don't think I'll continue since I got all the gems. But anyway, if I can do that, I'm sure you can reach DLv. in time. Also, if you didn't know, quick play spells can be activated from the hand only on your turn. You should set them so you can use them on your opponent's turn. In the first game, you could've used Crossout to negate his Imperm.
at first days of it i lost alot of duels i was like why is it harder than before? so i stopped playing then few days when i played again i got easy wins to dlv18 then i stopped so yeah i got all the gems exept the last 100 so that is enough for me
If you want branded you have to commit to building it. Its the only way to build meta decks. As a f2p player It takes around 2 months of gems with an event which is like 11,000 gems, and the pass helps you create 3 UR with only 700 gems, to complete a meta deck.
I got to 15 and gave up. I lost 98% of coin tosses. 1% of the 2% that I won I didn’t draw a stop to Maxx C, and the other 1% I got bodied by hyper-meta Yubel or SEFK. The sheer amount of stun variations in the event was just insanity for going 2nd. It got to the point where if I lost the coin toss I just surrendered after their first summon or spell just to confirm I had no chance. I got a good amount of rewards so I’m mostly satisfied but I just didn’t have fun this time around. For the record, I played Infernoble Knights for most of the event and a splash of Ice Barrier. Have you ever banished 8 of your opponents cards with Chengying and the Trishula synchros and still lost? Cause I have 😂
I think you should drop Branded. It is way too expensive. Another budget deck I recommend is Sword Soul; however, you should stick with Exosisters until you master it. I play Swordsoul and I've gotten good enough with it that I can reach DLV. Max with it. I'm not gonna lie, it takes blood, sweat & tears to play rogue against the meta.
Advice: play dinos bro, uct is probably the easiest to summon boss monster, cool extra deck cards and get to pop babies all day long, easily get master with a top tier Dino deck if you are good at playing it, I have many cards to fit in the extra deck so I’m always switching cards in and out, also the art work isn’t fairy, girly gay stuff. I’ll always be bias but Dino 🦕 all the way!
Your far from trash theres hella hope actually your doing pretty well and not even using meta ...i dont even think exo is good enough to be considered rogue in this format ...and youve pulled off a considersble amount of wins to reach the rank you have ..you dont have to go meta but i think you need a deck with more options so when you play these kinds of decks with limited plays you have a round about idea of what options you have to disrupt your opponent more .overall your doing great keep playing lmaooo i wasted so many gems to get mannadium and tear and had to break down old decks i had 😂😂 dont let it get to you brother at least it aint diddy 😅

I think cross out didn't trigger cuz of something cuz it was he's turn and the quick spell u can activate it from ur hand,,so I'm a little confused 🎉

Play some spirits like Sakitama and Aratama, You can also Squeeze in a Kaiju like Lava golem to help with going 2nd. I would also rather have Triple Tactics Trust and Triple Tactics Talents rather than Cross-out. for better advantage. And make any handtrap 2 of or less.
U should def play vampires, its the best zombie archetype imo.

Branded came out in waves so all the urs were spread out, i hate how expensive they made it but its a lore deck so it was expected
I collect all of the exosister cards But I have a hair time to learn how to play the deck. The cards that I want to get in real life Just to have but not to play with is the exosister and Witchcrafters.
dont go for branded, its probably the most expensive deck in the game currently (i need 600 UR dust to finish mine lol), id wait for the next bp for UR dust and save 10k gems to try go for it, in the meantime id say vaalmonica, floo, swordsoul (with the free structure deck + some cards) are pretty cheap

yeah I'm at level 18 with my Umi Controll but ever time I get to a rank up match to go to 19 I just hit a losing streak with totally unplayable hands or my opponent opening super cracked and negating every playable card I have.
Some advise if I may? From watching your videos I think you need to be a little bit more patient with your interruptions. You tend to take your opponent’s bait alot ,so I suggest waiting a little bit more until your opponent commits to a big play before using your interruptions.

I have build a lot of 60 card piles by building some other deck, dismantling bad pulls and spending the crafting mats on these expensive decks
just so you know, tenpai dragon is coming next pack so that can be a consideration

I was playing Lab recently and just fluctuate between 17 and 18, half of my matches I would brick and just scooped or my opponents had every card needed to thwart my plans and I was gonna lose anyway. Crimson dragon needs to be banned

Lol, I somehow managed to reach lvl 19 with an obsolete deck like Swordsoul. Don't think I'll continue since I got all the gems. But anyway, if I can do that, I'm sure you can reach DLv. in time. Also, if you didn't know, quick play spells can be activated from the hand only on your turn. You should set them so you can use them on your opponent's turn. In the first game, you could've used Crossout to negate his Imperm.

You should try memento. It’s cheap and when fiendsmith hits master duel it’ll be one of the best decks

at first days of it i lost alot of duels i was like why is it harder than before? so i stopped playing then few days when i played again i got easy wins to dlv18 then i stopped so yeah i got all the gems exept the last 100 so that is enough for me
If you want branded you have to commit to building it. Its the only way to build meta decks. As a f2p player It takes around 2 months of gems with an event which is like 11,000 gems, and the pass helps you create 3 UR with only 700 gems, to complete a meta deck.
I got to 15 and gave up. I lost 98% of coin tosses. 1% of the 2% that I won I didn’t draw a stop to Maxx C, and the other 1% I got bodied by hyper-meta Yubel or SEFK.
The sheer amount of stun variations in the event was just insanity for going 2nd. It got to the point where if I lost the coin toss I just surrendered after their first summon or spell just to confirm I had no chance. I got a good amount of rewards so I’m mostly satisfied but I just didn’t have fun this time around.
For the record, I played Infernoble Knights for most of the event and a splash of Ice Barrier. Have you ever banished 8 of your opponents cards with Chengying and the Trishula synchros and still lost? Cause I have 😂

I think you should drop Branded. It is way too expensive. Another budget deck I recommend is Sword Soul; however, you should stick with Exosisters until you master it. I play Swordsoul and I've gotten good enough with it that I can reach DLV. Max with it. I'm not gonna lie, it takes blood, sweat & tears to play rogue against the meta.
I reach DLvMax using Bystial Tenyi Swordsoul with Ringowurm this time.

Advice: play dinos bro, uct is probably the easiest to summon boss monster, cool extra deck cards and get to pop babies all day long, easily get master with a top tier Dino deck if you are good at playing it, I have many cards to fit in the extra deck so I’m always switching cards in and out, also the art work isn’t fairy, girly gay stuff.

Your far from trash theres hella hope actually your doing pretty well and not even using meta ...i dont even think exo is good enough to be considered rogue in this format ...and youve pulled off a considersble amount of wins to reach the rank you have ..you dont have to go meta but i think you need a deck with more options so when you play these kinds of decks with limited plays you have a round about idea of what options you have to disrupt your opponent more .overall your doing great keep playing lmaooo i wasted so many gems to get mannadium and tear and had to break down old decks i had 😂😂 dont let it get to you brother at least it aint diddy 😅
