this weapons is literally a double refference the way atlas launchers are makes it look like the gluon gun, but it has the function of the Half Life RPG Genius refference.
...I got one in my first anvil fight it's not bad but it's better to just fire multiple rockets at a single enemy but your idea should work for croud control if you up against alot like in a slaughter
there might be impact collision midair right after firing if not in a straight line, or it works perfectly fine allowing a deadly new meta come into play

I've had this launcher and used if for a couple of levels, it's pretty good but if you want some serious firepower you might as well go for the scourge rocket launcher, it has tracking missiles too but it's just insane the amount of damage you can output with it
Joltz you should do some testing with this gun and Zane. If he teleports while the rocket is out and he's in front of it, what happens? Does it turn around? Maybe you can still control it in the same direction, but it's inverted because you're on the wrong side.
I don’t remember the name of the rocket launcher since I sold it but I got a legendary rocket launcher that shoots out 2 rockets which then spit into 4 each which then split into 8 so all 64 rockets then go straight up and then shoot out lasers from the bottom. It’s really good but omg the frame drops. Btw the red text was “Want More?”

I looked online and found out that most of the Legendaries are not tied to a specific boss qnd are world drops at this point...they might be more likely to drop a specific weapon, but most are still world drops
I have literally NEVER come across this weapon before and today I got a Mayhem 10, Unshippable Freeman drop for me! I was jaw-dropped at how much more damage it does over your level 50 version in this video. It is literally almost a copy of yours in stats with only 2 differences. Mine has a slightly bigger splash damage radius (Yours did 253, mine was at 303) and mine came anointed for the Gunner where after exiting Iron Bear, gain 160% increased Splash damage for 18 seconds. Seems like a really good anointment if you ask me. Oh and your damage was 6649 and mine was 34529. I dunno if that's the max damage for this this kinda weapon on Mayhem 10 but it seems pretty high compared to some other heavies that I've had drop that were not 2-7x. I'm curious, can this weapon even drop with a multiplier?
I farmed him a good 30 times back when I was going through the main story and got nothing and gave up and thought he did not have a drop. I guess I should have just kept farming. Apart from the fact that he kept leveling up to his max every time I fought him, it took so long.
Haven't seen anyone talk about this but you can get anointed unique quest rewards I got an anointed dead chamber from the hammerlock quest in the anvil
the rockets need to be slow so you can more easily steer them, but because they are slow, it really lowers the dps of this over any other rocket launcher. it's only useful in limited circumstances because of this. frankly, they need to increase the splash damage range and up the primary damage by 50% to make this a viable weapon in your average combat situation. as is, I would recommend most of the standard epic rocket launchers over this any day.

If you're playing TVHM, annointed items drop more often than normal mode
