Another small tip, AIming for the head does more damage than hitting the tail or body, However hitting the tail can sometimes be better bc its way easier to hit there tail and avoid being hit than hitting there head and a punishment in return. But ye the head is a good spot especially for the pachy as it has head fracture which almost blinds them

Migration zone is that symbol with a path and some paws when you hold Q . The location always changes over time so you have to really go towards the symbol
10:31 cerato can make you puke so be careful becuz while u pickung u cant run and do attacks
10:31 dont do charge attack uphill cuz u are going to have short charge attack

Each Dino growth time is different. The bigger, the longer time it is to grow. Also grazing only gives u so much food but it can help keep u from starving. BTW when u try troodon and omniraptor, keep ur pounces short. 2-3 seconds max each pounce. Also troodon, wait between pounces. Troodon makes a sound when pounce effect is ready, after 3rd pounce, spam it. But watch ur Stam on both dinos, longer the pounce, less Stam u have to run
While in migration zone as a herby, hold the sniff button for few seconds. You will see plants from your diet on the compass, similar to carnivour meat diet system.
Ye, Deinos / stegos take the longest and then carnos, tenos, ceras usually take a decent amount of time and then raptors, troodons, bepis, pachys, gallis all take a lot shorter
crouch walking give almost as much stam as sitting does, nevr sitting again !
Yeah different dinosaurs have different growth times
Pachys can fracture bones
Fractured leg - can't sprint as fast
Fractured body - faster stam depletion
Fractured head - sight desaturation
So to find herbivores as a baby just stick to sanctuaries and stay alive, once you've grown at a certain stage, migration would be available to you and then just follow migration, that way when you get there you might meet other pachys and other herbis
The grow time in this game is mad like the deino is 5 or 6hr to grow with a good diet and the stego is somewhat the same grow time
Its like the smaller the dino the faster it grow the bigger the dino the longer it grows and its perma death
Yeah grow times differ, the bigfer the dino the longer it takes, but it is fair, because if you are a full grown deino, the only thing that is a threat to you is 2 full grown deinos. Same for carno and stego, very few things are a threat to you. Glad you enjoy the isle, i made a switch to isle from PoT a while ago, i just love more hardcore survival. And legacy growing is a lot of fun because of nesting, very social chill exoerience, with your parents taking care of you, you get sone helicopter ones that will chase you and make you turn around if you explore too far from nest lol, hope they make nesting worth it in evrima too. You start even smaller in nest thought, where you cant even eat meat, you need to eat from the nest in legace, or parents have to feed you in evrima.
also always use right click or alt attack on pachy cuz left click is bite and bite does small damage
Tip: dont bite too much as pachy. is no like pot, biting doesnt do anything, just use your right click atack(the strong one), and you can use the alt atack too agaisnt smaller creatures
Is cool when you play as a herb you can eat grass and not have to eat berries like in path of titans and also no salt water in this game you can just drink from any water source in this game , one of my most complaints about the game, What made me just quit enterally in path of titans was when a sarco make out of no where and killed me , and also players purposely blocking you just to kill you , Path of titans is just infuriating , Sometimes is fun and even reading the chat box , What I also like about the isle is the feature that shows you how big your Dino is to a human , Great video I was wondering if you can grow a trex in this game
There is salt water in the Isle, but it’s at the beach. It will not fill your thirst, and makes it go down quicker, similar to PoT. Pot does offer community servers can can give you a more “Isle” experience, with semi-realism in their description. Lastly, yes. There is a rex and 4 other dinos that are in development that will be coming to the Isle in the future, along with humans.
Grow times are different as larger animals generally take a longer time to Grow, and i sure other people have gone more on depth about it in other comments.
Some tips for growth, an animals growth rate is controlled by your diet, so the better the diet the faster you grow.
For Example:
if you have 1 hex (the hex's above your food meter) filled with lets say dots, you are going to have a 5% increase to growth
if you have 2 hex's filled, lets say dots & S then you will have a 15% increase to your growth rate
now having all three hex's filled is different because depending on what all three hex's are filled with changes the growth rate aswell
if you have 3 hex's filled with the same nutrient all three filled with dots for example, you will have a 25% growth increase
Now if you have 3 hex's filled with more of a variety like 2 hex's filled with dots and one filled with S then you will have a 30% growth increase
and the best diet for growing would be to have the most varied diet
1 hex filled with dots, 1 hex filled with lines, and 1 hex filled with S, if you have this diet as you did in this video you will have a 50% growth increase
that's partially why you pachy was growing so fast other then its lower growth time.
Biting doesn’t do much damage for all herbivores except stego, try to only use it if something is running from you. Right click charge headbutt for damage, chance of fracture, and stun (if target is slightly bigger or smaller than you), alt left click for a directional attack with medium damage and will knock things smaller than you to the floor
Killing things randomly for no reason as a herbivore does remind me alot of POT tho

Also welcome to fall damage you’ve joined the club. You’ll soon be scared of the run button an die to stupidly small drops that you wouldn’t even class as a drop and die 🤣🤣🤣
Don't sprint so often. The game had a recent change to try and discourage people sprinting everywhere and it's still overly heavy handed. If you press z you alternate between walk and trot, it's better to trot everywhere in most scenarios unless you're really pressed for food or something.
The more I see of the isle the more I like POT better.
Pachy grows fast all herby’s are fast growing part from the stego . Deino was always the longest as Carno.
there all different times to grow croc for example takes a long time
pachy can destroy utahs, if you fight a utah your going to win, if you fight 2 u might win but if you fight anything bigger you will lose.
im gonna be honest with you if your a herbivore don't attack the carnivores cause you risk to be killed and also the carnivores are just gonna rage and everything so it's better to let them live thiere lives and not risk to be killed

12:25 u keep using pachys weaker attacks
It has regular headbutts which do a lot of damage and knocks players over within a certain weight range.
Similar to the charge head butt butt it’s faster and doesn’t do bone break
You should try stego its broken
use only second attack playing pachy, your first attack does no dmg and also charge up your second attack by holding it

Finding other Herbs, head to migrations... the baby Cerato's were "chuffing", it's a buff Cerato get around bodies, it's very vocal

The only thing thats good in the isle is the graphics but everything else like the movement and the playstyle looks not good
The play style and the mechanics are top tier compared to PoT. I love it
The pachy is not that good in fighting it is kinda like a troll dino
The herb players is erverywhere if not your server that you playing on is dead
