Or an average sized plane like an MD80 with an A380 in front of it :)
That's Republic Air they fly Embraer 170 and 175. Pretty much anything commercial is bigger than that, but I'm sure he was referring to an A380.

AVGAS is th efuel for aircraft, and is differentiated from MOGAS [motor vehicle gasoline].
I believe he is asking if the plane has enough fuel to accept a low-altitude routing of eight thousand feet which will use considerably more fuel than one at thirty thousand feet.

You guys and gals realize he is performing an orchestra on the ground moving planes in and out up and out and around. The information he has to relay is vital to safety amazing how he does it effectively..not effortless

I recently accidentally found these videos of Kennedy Steve and as a traveller with no background on aviation, I really respect ATCs and how he handles the chaos in a relaxing way, especially for airport like JFK! Are all ATCs in JFK generally like this? ( Apologies for any bad English ^^)
not at all. Steve is unique, a gem actually. And a LOT of other ATC in JFK are not nice at all !
He was one of a kind!

I think he usually does a night shift, but I'm not entirely sure...

BigBlueMSP He's a supervisor. I've gathered that he generally works when they are really really busy or if someone misses a shift for whatever reason. I.e. he's not a "regular" controller
