    For the last year, I have had injection every 3 months between my eyes and forehead. The first two times, I did Botox, the third time I did Xeomin and the last time Dysport. The Botox was nice but did not last long in my strong muscles. The Xeomin was the weakest and hardly effected my muscles at all. The Dysport is by far the best for me!! It worked quickly, has the strongest effect and results and is lasting longer. I know we are all biodiverse, but for me it's Dysport all the way.

    • @NaturalInjector
      @NaturalInjector 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@mrmincraft799 I think their whole “natural toxin” is just marketing bs. What exactly makes it more natural? We have been all awaiting the new toxin. They’re still trying to get it FDA approved. Hopefully we shall have it sometime in 2022.

      @mrmincraft799 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@NaturalInjector All the other neurotoxins have complexing proteins in them along with the actual toxin. Xeomin is just toxin, no complexing proteins. Also the lowest molecular weight toxin on the market. 150kDa compared to Botox which is around 900kDa. I believe Dysport is around 800 kDa. And I think in general all the products are marketed to be differentiated in some way. That's why their marketing departments get paid the big bucks lol So at the end of the day it's what the patient wants (quickest onset = dysport, natural = xeomin, most familiar in the marketplace = botox). That's my thought at least. Do you have one you think is the best personally?

      @@mrmincraft799 It sure is gaining popularity as the most natural neurotoxin but I think it’s misleading for them to say that. Thank you

    • @NaturalInjector
      @NaturalInjector 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Dmitri glad you enjoyed the video. All botulinum toxins come in tiny glass vials. With Botox’s brand, there is actually NO powder. Botox comes dry and you can’t see anything in the vial before reconstitution. Nothing is crushed when we reconstitute any of the Botulinum toxins, we add normal saline to them so that we are able to inject them into muscles and nothing is destroyed when we do that. Botox was the first on the market and is probably the closest to the natural toxin formula made by the bacteria, but all toxins need to be reconstituted so that we can use them. Nothing is being destroyed. Hope that answered your question.

    • @NaturalInjector
      @NaturalInjector 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      When you say "better" it can have many meanings when it comes to neuromodulators. Does better mean it kicks in faster? Does better mean it is stronger? You can use any neuromodulator for a Botox brow lift but I am not sure what "better" would mean to you. All of them would work the same way for a Botox brow lift. Dysport does seem stronger so if someone has strong muscles it could be better for them, but if someone is scared about getting this treatment, getting a neuromodulator that is not as paralyzing (Botox) could be better for them.

    • @NaturalInjector
      @NaturalInjector 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You may have noticed that it helped reduce the oil of the skin. I don’t think it actually tightens pores though as there is nothing that can be done to actually change the size of your pores. Things can help make pores look less visible though (chemical peels, face masks, other types of exfoliation). Some of my patients report getting less acne when they get Dysport or Botox to their foreheads. You can try peels, clay masks, retinoids, or other exfoliative treatments to help make the pores less visible. Voluma is designed to be injected at a deeper level to add volume so it will not effect the outer layer of skin where your pores are.

    How about the xeomin?

    • @NaturalInjector
      @NaturalInjector 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I didn’t choose to do a split face study with Xeomin because it’s a less used toxin brand compared to the others. If it becomes more popular perhaps I will make a split face study but there was another toxin that just got FDA approval that’s supposed to be the longest lasting toxin. I’m waiting to do a split face study on that one.

    I thought the point of Botox/ dysport was for your forehead to not move. (The frozen look.). His forehead still moves after both Botox and dysport.

    • @NaturalInjector
      @NaturalInjector 3 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      Actually the point of Botox/Dysport for most people, is to get rid of and reduce wrinkles. Most people’s FEAR of getting Botox/Dysport is that they won’t be able to move and look too frozen.

    • @NaturalInjector
      @NaturalInjector 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @Johnx Doex 👍 everyone’s goals are different and I have come across people who want no movement but that’s usually more to their glabella area.

    • @JanineHyslop
      @JanineHyslop ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeh I prefer no movement in the glabellar 11 s but forehead I don't mind wrinkled as I have a fringe I think foreheads that don't move are odd looking.

    Which would you recommend for grinding? I have had Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport. I didn't pay attention to which took effect quickest or which lasted longer.
    I am also concerned about product migration. (It happened to me once - it was either Botox or Dysport... can't remember)

    • @NaturalInjector
      @NaturalInjector 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think all would help with grinding. The company that makes Botox is doing the clinical studies for cosmetic treatment of facial slimming in the masseter muscles which can also help with grinding. I have a video about masseter Botox on my channel. I think migration to other muscles would be more from injection placement and if you possibly worked out after treatment that could possibly have effected migration.

    • @NaturalInjector

      Do you mean you don’t see a difference between the 2 neurotoxins?

    • @npkrn6764
      @npkrn6764 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@NaturalInjector Yes Emily, I don't see a difference between the two sides of the eyes with the two different neurotoxins- maybe it's just me and my eyes? 🤓 But I could definitely tell on the forehead. Lighting in the office, and standing right in front of the patient in person may be different for me - who knows. I've had Botox in my Glabella and forehead and I was drawn to your video because I am interested in the difference. Thank you for the video and I'd love to see more.
      As an aside - do you notice any difference in facial musculature between men and women? - Or do you think different techniques or treatments work differently between men and women?

    • @NaturalInjector
      @NaturalInjector 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@npkrn6764 Yes in general men have stronger facial muscles than women and usually require more units. I use the same techniques for men and women, I just adjust the dosage based on how strong I feel the muscles are. Thanks for watching and for your feedback.
