Yes but not entirely. It is a little sad because Spidey has got and will always got some feelings (not sure romanticly) for her. She is still in Spidey's responsiblty, and any harm that comes to her is Spidey's fault. And music defines this by sadness in the song.

At least I'd trust Selina Kyle more than Black Cat since she's not likely to fabricate a story involving kids seeing she has Holly Robinson and in some comics a younger sister Magdalena (Maggie).

Definitely brings a bunch of what ifs. Also im sure the costume (if the child wears one) would be interesting since the only blend i can think of is a black spiderman suit which could maybe fit into the suit black cat liked so much (the symbiote spider outfit, aka venom costume)

because videogames don't have 2 hr time constraints meaning more to flesh out characters. Plus you're more invested since its interactive unlike a movie

It helps tremendously when you are invested and understand the source material and what people truly like about the characters The videogame had a good vision, excellent writing (some of the best for Spider-Man period), great casting (voice actors) and direction.
Also one of my favorite incarnations of the Black Cat to date. Erica Lindbeck did an outstanding job brining the character's personality to life with her voice alone. Add in the careful balance of flirty but mysterious dialogue and a gorgeous design model, and you've got perfection. Are there any other Felicia's that top this one?
The way the music here blends with spider-man’s theme for me sums up not only their own friction but the cat’s inner turmoil , she wants to be like peter and be a hero she tries to go straight because she loves him so much, but she always slips back, ultimately she’s a sad character and the music really highlights that aswell as her own mystery and wonderment the player, and spider-man feel about her
I loved Black Cat in this game and the dlc, this song fits her so well with a playful start and then a changing melody representing her crazy side, insomnia has a lot of pressure for the sequel.

In all fairness, while Catwoman did exist first, Black Cat started the black leather costume and whip look, which Catwoman would later copy. Catwoman originally wore purples and greens and only did cat-related crimes. Black Cat was a leather-bound cat burglar from the get go. So while Catwoman came out first, she actually ripped off Black Cat later on.

Pretty much every major actress who portrayed Selina in that series was costumed in the body suit, which later stuck. This predates Black Cat by over a decade, as she first appeared in 1979. Catwoman was also wielding a whip in the early 1970's, not to mention her flirtatious relationship with Batman had already been developed and played with.
I love how tragic this music sounds. The way Black Cat talks to Spidey before the dlc you could easily imagine something lighthearted and playful, and during the dlc the way she acts around him would suit something sexy and jazzy. Instead we get this music that starts off mysterious, then gets mournful and longing, and then tempestuous and conflicted. It gives you the feeling that she really does love Spidey deeply and regrets that things didn't work out between them, but feels she will always be on the other side of the glass. I interpret the fact that one of the first things she says to him in the dlc is to ask if he's back with MJ as her being ready to make another effort to make things work if he was unattached, and then choosing not to try too hard to reconcile because that would mean coming between him and MJ. You could even read the magnitude of her lies and manipulation, and her apparently callous reaction to revealing she's betraying Spidey, as her deliberately doing something he'd struggle to forgive, so there wouldn't even be the temptation for either of them to try again. Without the music, I'd treat her flirty, teasing persona as her full (very shallow) character, it's the music alone that makes me think there's more to her than that. Absolutely brilliantly done.
By far my favourite version of Black Cat. Voice actor did a fantastic job bringing substance and life to the character. Dialogue and animations create the perfect combination of sexy and badass, all with a character design that differentiates from her history by not being overtly sexual. Fantastic job done by the developers, can't wait to see her return

The main story broke my heart already, then the Black Cat story did it again. I played it right afterwards and enjoyed it and I could understand the mixed emotions Peter has for her. Then the ending came.. and the end really got me crying again heheh. Bruh I need a break, this shit is killing me man, I just wanted to hug Pete after that haha. This story was so funny and heartwarming sweet but the ending was so sad. Swinging to the penthouse was one of the most intense moments I had in this game😭😂

It combines the mysterious nature of the character, the evilness and it's also combined with the Spider-Man theme (you can perfectly hear it in 3:09). That final detail is wicked. The reason why this character theme is perfect.

The music amplifies the sexual tension of the scene like a 1000 times. Especially after 0:31, the faint synth-arpeggio part sounds like a distant memory, a lost feeling, and literally keeps tugging at your heart. A quiet, sweet but tense moment amidst the chaos that makes you yearn for more. Sweet and tragic. My God if I was Spider-Man and if that music was playing in the background, I'd pack everything and run away with Black Cat.
You know the video game soundtrack is a good one when a theme plays in the background, and you start to connect it with a certain event or character appearing. As I played the DLC, I always noticed Black Cat's theme playing in the background. Now I can't think of her without hearing this in my head. The orchestra strings are intense and give you a great rush, then turn into a very passionate and romantic score. And that piano rift.... Mysterious with the promise of something special if you're lucky. Perfect tune for Felicia Hardy.
