I am obsessed with these. I remember in middle school having computer class and using the floppy discs. I still have an old Compaq computer and it works!! So many memories from childhood with these. The pez, batteries, stp....my favorites hot tamales!! Those cassette tapes,, vhs and film real!!!!! Obsessed Ugh so many cute ones. Can't wait to find these!
@@judrawing Nope, when it got stuck in the machine, you would have to re-wind the music tape with a pencil in the cog part. You are clearly much younger than me lol.
@@slytheringingerwitch Oooh now I got it, it’s a cassette XD I read disquete, now makes sense. Im young but still not from the 2000s, I was born in 1998 (26 yo). Thank you for explaining anyways XD I used to play with the VCR and get my fingers stuck on it fbhsbcjs
@@judrawing That's okay. I am old enough to remember the VHS/ Betamax squabble as to which was best. Young children would often post toast in the VHS slot of the machine unless it was a top loader.
OMG THE KITTY WAS SO PRECIOUS! 😆 best part of the video. lol I want these minis sooo bad! I love retro stuff. If I could find 1000 VHS tapes, disposable cameras and I’d be sooo happy! The makeup is super cool too! Love old packaging. Would be super cool to make a retro room
There are some really cool nostalgia items in that collection. I wish they would pick a scale to work in. Some of the things will work for 1:6 others are too big, but not quite big enough for 18" dolls. It's frustrating to spend $$ on stuff that won't work where you want it to. BTW, your cat is adorable. It's absolutely fine that she hijacked your video. 😺
I wish I could like this a thousand times! Wait till you see the Mini Brands Home edition… you’re gonna lose your mind! The appliances and household accessories appear to be a consistent scale…bad news it’s 1:12. The furniture is small AF and doesn’t look consistent. It’s maybe 1:24? What am I doing with 1:24 scale? And now we have the Garden which looks like it’s 1:3 scale but also not consistent! I wish they would just ditch the wasteful plastic capsules so they could be consistent with scale like Rement and other similar brands do. I’d even be willing to add stickers and fold boxes myself for consistent scale!! I don’t need 1:3 scale sodas!
@@gothgammy666 Yeah. If I wasn't already crazy this would send me round the bend. I'm ready for everyone to move on from surprise capsules and empty boxes as a prize. Rement is pretty good scalewise. The furniture is too small for 1:6, but sometimes it still works for Chelsea's playroom. And they're consistent. And if you buy a full case you get everything, no surprises.
This is an awesome collection. I love all retro things. I grew up with the computer floppy disks and all the Kodak film from the 80s and 90s. Brings me back
I love Fresca. Haven't seen it in the stores in a very long time. No UPC codes and no Nutrition Facts. Life was so much simpler back then. Now you will have to keep that big box for your cat. Cats love boxes. I remember the rolls of film as coming inside a metal or plastic container, which then fit inside the box. My fav is the cassette tape inside its cover.
These are very cool, and I can totally see their appeal for retro ‘80s dollhouse builders and collectors! One day, I was waiting at a CVS checkout line, when I spotted and impulse bought a single tub of Wacky Packages 3-dimensional miniatures, where the humorous products were visible through the top lid window! I had my pick from a small stack! I have them arranged as part of one of my JEM Backstager play set displays!! No space left for more minis, or I would have bought one more tub, on the spot!! I would not be surprised if Zuru got their cue from the old Topps sticker line redone as dollhouse wares. I don’t recall who put out this line of miniatures because I don’t remember seeing the outer plastic tub wraparound label marked as official Topps merch.
Charlie was the # 1 perfume in 1976, 3 years after its launch. Revlon made it. The ad campaign was revolutionary at the time featuring a model in PANTS!! The crayon box is from 1905, so Crayola has had many different designs since then.
They should have made the book like the normal book series... Kinda sucks that its a plastic book shape..... I LOVE the Spam & the Cheese Balls, the Diet Coke & all the disks, the mentos and the rayolas. And the energiser! I so wish they arried this series where I lived.
I accidentally clicked on this video and I instinctively almost went back to the video that I was actually planning to watch, but your welcoming demeanor & pleasant voice made me feel like babies would start crying if I didn’t at least give you a chance lol. Well, I’m no monster and I couldn’t be the cause for these pretend babies to cry, so I selflessly chose to watch and I can honestly say that I am so SO glad I did! Your enthusiasm was infectious and the excitement you showed for certain items was so refreshing. By the halfway point I was genuinely happy that I made the mistake of clicking on this video and I already decided that the situation was a win. I didn’t imagine it could get any better but I was so, SO wrong. I had no possible way to prepare for the greatness thrust upon me, and next thing I know I’m cracking up and fighting to catch my breath because I was laughing too hard at your cat. Well, I can’t tell if I laughed more at the cat, or at your reaction to the cat, but I woke my husband up because of it and I swear my entire day has been made. ❤❤
Zuru dropped the ball (pardon the pun) on the cookbook. It should have been made with real paper and with pictures at the very least. They have the mini books so we know they could of done that. My favorite are the Kodak products, cassettrs, and floppy disks as well as the Crayola. Wish they would of had a Polaroid in this collection.
I can’t believe you’re turning up your nose at some of the vintage items. They may not be as colorful then as we have now, but they bring back memories for some of us. No "ewww"s allowed. 😊😊😊
Best part....cat says it's my time to shine lol. Let that baby have the spot light! 😅😊 I keep a lot of the display boxes n my cats always fight to get into em. So funny
Never heard of this collection 😊 Thanks for sharing ❤ These really brought back some great memories 😁 Can’t wait to get these in my area and add to my dollhouse to set up a fun and nostalgic scene 😉 And your lovely little kitty just added to the sweetness of this video ✨💖✨
23:33 I think these batteries are my favorite so so far. 34:09 no I take it back. This little cassette is my favorite! Also, I really really like the VHS.!
Awesome video & review! I think everything is super cute. For me, they're all waaay too large. I obly collect items that fit into 1:6 scale. But everything is reallt super cute. I'm surw they will sell well.
How cute!!! I wish the collector's guide told you the years of each item like what year you would have seen that packaging on the shelves. I may have to get a few of these for my dolls!
Never apologize for the adorable antics of kittys. Seeing your adorable fur baby made my day brighter 💖
The kitty thumbs!!! ❤
I am impressed that your cat fit in the box. Love your cat. Hope Zuru see this video and sponsors you and your cat in the future.
MY whole family was enjoying your cat playing haha cats and boxes lol
How cute, your fur baby helping out! 😂😂😂😂😂
I love the cat!!! The cat is the Star!!
I am only 54 years old but I recognize every one of these objects and the version they're showing LOL. 😄 Very nostalgic. 💜
I too am 54 and everything holds a memory in me! Carrying floppy discs to school especially! I graduated in 88…
I'm 49 and I do as well. LOL!!
Gotta love a box of kitty!!! Precious
The kitty made your video the best 😅
Oh aww so cute new retro collection love it ❤❤❤
the cat is the best part of the video 😂😊
❤ I love that!!!
Your cat stole the show!!
Fresca is delicious!! It's a grapefruit-citrus flavoured soda. This collection is great!! My favourite was the cassette tape ❤

That Charlie perfume was crazy popular in the 70s and part of the 80s.
I still like the pink one, but absolutely the red lol
There was a song. "And they call it Charlie"
Loving your nails!
Oh wow the 3M piece came out woo.
O wow i love the film roll.
I do not normally buy the mini brands but will buy the retro version.
There are frozen moments and there are special moments with our special furry friends showing their superPAWers 😻
So the cassette one should have come with a pencil lol.
To write something on it? I was a kid when 💾 were a thing, so I’m not sure that’s why (idk how to write disquete in English)

Revlon Love Pat was a pressed power foundation with “lanolite”. That is from the original 1953 version of the compact.

Kids lol
These toy unboxing videos are for the kid that we all have inside.
