I knew this in one of the playtests and then forgot during one where servers were just awful so the missed frame didn’t mean anything. So people have likely been abusing this that whole time

they can't really "emergency hotfix" it, unless they were to remove all particles (awful). particles just need better optimization, which isn't a simple job

since i played some Obscure MMO i delt with Load lag which basically loaded in the enemies loot allowing us to know when an enemy entered into our zone. I noticed it in DnD for a minute now though not often.
I noticed this almost immediately as a new player, I use it when I want to fight a ton, they have an audio bug in tarkov that’s literally the exact same thing. I wouldn’t be surprised if tons of people use it either because I’ve had full lobby fights in corner spawns multiple times this week.

This is kinda the same bug we had before with the voip icon on top of your avatar only activating when people are in a radius they can hear you. It has to be adressed for sure and i actually know a hand full of people looking into frames for fights

The devs should remove the collision box from the spiders. There's no reason we should even have to jump over something that's ankle height. Each step of a staircase in the game is taller than the spiders, but I don't have to jump to walk up them.
No one tell him about when someone equips something in a modual connecting to middle it showes up above where the goblin mage sits giving you intel people are a module away and they are healing, bandaging etc
@Euthafro yeah when someone equips an item it will blink there for a moment. I'm assuming it's got something to do with the fact it's the dead center of the map and how the game renders stuff.

i've suspected this to be the case for while with VoiP specifically. like if you have proximity on and you come across someone else who also has it on you'd notice your performance drop. if its effecting people with higher-end pcs i wonder what it looks like on lower-end pcs. my experience is slightly worse than what's shown in this video. when someone or another team get in my pov, my game will sometimes freeze from 0.1 secs to 2seconds depending on what skills/abilities they're using. i've also notice that loading on my main character takes a second longer than any other character. i really hope these guys are not coding stash space to be loaded in by other players like D4 did/does.
as someone with a lower end-pc, i never get the frame drops cuz my game runs at a pretty low fps already. feels a little unfair but atleast my usual teammates have good pcs
I don't think you realize how unfathomably large a 2 second stutter would be. That's a 2000ms frame time spike, no a single frame for 2 whole seconds. Think again if that's REALLY how long you're freezing sometimes
@@Isaax actually one time i had one that lasted for like 5-10 seconds in trios but that's only happened once. normally i only get the minor freezes but i do get frozen for like 2 seconds and die as soon as the freeze stops. its random asf and sometimes keeps me from wanting to do duos or trios in fear of just throwing an entire fight.

No it means you can predict that some one is in the room you’re facing direction. Rogue can also predict that you are coming and silently stay behind the door waiting for your ass

Optimization in general has gone down quite a bit. A few months ago I would get 180+ fps now I'm gettin 160 and even less when people r around. Gob caves is the absolute worst for performance

How much FPS do you usually get and do you cap yours?
@@1upr660 mine is capped at 144 and from my testing I would hit cap until a ton of warlock and mob stuff was happening on screen or a team was near by

Have you considered taking spell predation in trios? It works really well against buff balls as you strip all their buffs off straight away.

My framerates don't drop, when I see enemy's my game straight up freezes from 2-10 secs. Stopped playing the game for now as I can't afford another pc

I have 3060 ti ryzen 7 5800x3d and I get 1sec freezes but it happens more on my first games in goblin caves after couple games its not that bad
