    Thank you very much for the great videos on this exciting variant.
    It would be really great if you did a chessable video course on the Portuguese Variation and the Icelandic Gambit!
    I would buy such a course right away.

    #teamscandi This is my favorite variation in the scandi. Getting so many scalps in this line because natural looking human moves just tend to lose for white.

    Scandinavian can be deadly in the right hands..... any opening can be deadly in the right circumstances. In saying that; this Gambit breakdown is marvelous Miodrag!

    Mio, if they 9.0-0 and you play exd4, the most common move is Re1+, not Qe3 and I don't like that position. What should I do?

    At about the 17:04 mark, unless I am missing something, White is evenly matched with black after Qa4. Actually, black needs to play very carefully from this point forward or he will lose.

    • @elperro3683
      @elperro3683 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      And to add to my comment above, instead of Qxa7, I will argue that white's best move is Qxc6+. Now it's black on the run!

      I just attempted to play this opening and white went right off the script on move four--the gomer played Be2, immediately challenging my bishop on g4. I get so disappointed when players do not play by the teacher's rules!

    Hi Big Mio I found your channel a week ago and am already a big fan. I was wondering if you might do an analysis video of this transpositional line that seems very effective against 1. e4 d5 2. exd5 Qxd5 3. Nf3
    The continuation is 3... Nc6 4. d4 e5 5. c4 Qe4+
    This line has worked real well for me with the black pieces against even strong players but I can't find analysis anywhere for it

    Scandi Team!!! 3.d4 is the main line but 3.Bg5+ is more resistance. Is the way to fight againts it?

  • @Julianchuk
    @Julianchuk 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    After c4 instead u can also do Qf5 and after he do h3 u just play h5 and we got a lot of tactics and have Bxh3 in some variants with g5 and also Rh6 sacrifice to open g file...

  • @liampenny9016

    With Black B on d6 can't W play c5 in some lines ? I must say I agree with your comments that these lines are confusing eg when to play Qh5 rather than f5?

    Hey Mio! How would You handle 1.e4 d5 2.exd Nf6 3.Nc3? Would 3...c6 be a viable option by gambiting a pawn? If so, are there any tactical/aggressive continuations for black? Thank You for all your work fellow Slav :)
