Not claiming to be a historian in any way and I am being picky but I saw some things that didn't seem right.
Julius Caeser and Mark Anthony look like they are both wearing knee length pants under their armor. A quick google check says the roman soldiers did not wear knee length pants under their armor.
There is a scene where Cleopatra is riding a horse and there are metal stirrups showing. Another quick search reveals stirrups in Egypt at that time aren't likely. There were stirrups in China at the time and there were some people that had loops to put their feet through but no modern stirrups. Stirrups didn't get to Europe until the eight century so not sure Cleopatra would be riding with stirrups.
The no entourage was odd too. Cleopatra is touring Egypt in a sedan chair? There are maybe ten people with her?
Lots of scenes of Cleopatra sanding alone in the desert.
The series seems like it had a low budget.

Why were Julius Caesar and Octavian wearing cargo pants? Roman men didn't dress that way.
Another thing that has escaped comment across social media: by all accounts, Cleopatra was quite the charmer from a male perspective. Enchanting, to be precise. Captivating. However, the Cleopatra portrayed in "Queen Cleopatra" is about as captivating as a seven-car fatal pile-up on a major freeway. She's loud, sarcastic, condescending to Roman men of rank, and anything but charming.

The Queen of Egypt did not wield a sword or spar with soldiers. She commanded them. There might be some ceremonial stuff, but a full on heavy sword against a trained soldier, never. Woke-a-Joke.

Some other ancient queens in settled + nomad societies had some warrior queens..but not among Ptolemys queens?

@@tymanung6382 Warrior queens may have lead armies into battle but would not have fought one-on-one with male opponents. Certainly no Ptolemaic queens would have. There are queens, such as Amina of Zaria, who did lead warriors into battle directly. She is often pictured on a horse and it may be that she was cavalry, not infantry, giving her a marked advantage over infantrymen. We have to be very careful because the modern woke-a-joke think that men and women have the same statistical amounts of speed, size and strength and use movies to depict such, however, this is not real, but political. This specific Queen Cleopatra would not have sparred with an Arab soldier dressed 800 years in the future. Elizabeth I of England did not command a ship or directly fight against the Spanish Armada. What is really sad is that if you do look into these queens they do have very interesting stories, are very intelligent and are masters of politics. They do not need any lies to be great. It is the western movie maker, steeped in maxist doctrine, that need the lies.

We know Cleopatra was black, Because she had a Child with Mark Anthony, who was a Roman Dignitary. Now according to Roman Law, It was against the law for a Roman dignitary to have sex with women other than Roman! However, when Mark Anthony saw Cleopatra, and how Black and Beautiful she was, he wanted her! The same way the white man lust over the Black Woman today, Nothing New!
Now after this union Cleopatra became pregnant and a child was born on December 25th! Called Cleophas, Who is actually one of your three Jesus's spoken of in your bible! The baby's birth had to be kept a secret in Rome and in Egypt! Their union was not recognized by the Romans or Egyptians. Cleopatra was under the Cat goddess Bast! So now you get the Roman Catholic Church, which is Cat, and Holistic! Now when Cleopatra's Son, Cleophas was born, he was supposed to take the Throne at age Thirteen. But the Ancient Egyptian Refused to let him take the Throne in Egypt, Because he was Biracial, and of two different cultures! In other words, he was not accepted in Egypt or Rome! This proves that Cleopatra was indeed a Black Woman, And not some Pale Face Greek Woman the Eurocentric would have you believe! Why? Because at this point in time, Egypt was still ruled by Black-Asiatic People, Who were highly Melanated People! And we're Not, Pale Face European Greeks!

The old statues of Cleopatra that don't match africans' faces including actress. Because they have flat and wide noses without spines and have thick largest mouths with thick teeth and have huge bone faces with thick hairy. Cleopatra had deep nose with spine and looked pretty because she was a Egyptian and Greek. Period.

There's a thing called budget that is given to make a movie. You have to use what you have. There are docudrama about every part of history. The creation of the universe to serial killer. The entertainment business tries to make things as entertaining as possible. Some are facts with a little extra to make it entertaining. Texas chain saw massacre is based on a real person. Dahmer, that really is a part of modern history, and a lot of things in the movie didn't happen. A raptor is only 3-4 ft. tall. There are plenty of shows that are documentary base but the things to make it entertaining. Don't pick one thing and not everything else that has done the same. I don't get it. The Greek or Roman have paintings, coins, and sculptures of cleopatra. Not one looks the same, but that's what you believe she looks like. The Egyptian ones, where she has dark melanated features that's not accurate, are symbolic. Her mother ancestry is missing for a reason. A royal dynasty that kept an accurate record of lineage up till then. The two possibilities are who found them left it out for a reason or they did for a reason. Even though incest is a big thing when it comes to royalty. Some will say I'm not following tradition or find a workaround. It has happened in our generation (Megan Markel). They still practice marriages within royal bloodlines (cousins). You say if she was biracial it wouldn't be a dark melanated woman. Why not? When me when it comes to her mother ancestry. Dark melanated people are so hated for no reason other than skin color. Your disdain of dark melanated people being a part of North Africa that wasn't a slave is disgusting and stupid to think so. It also tells that the only people of history you give a damn about is the ones that you think look look like you.

You totally missed the point, buddy!!! Read your history a little more thoroughly. By the way, look up the word documentary in the English dictionary. Check out what that word means, no matter who tells you what. Facts is what should matter when making a documentary about anything or anyone.
