Nice work on Drift here. I get why the factory stuff is lacking paint but it's still somewhat annoying... although customising is fun too anyway. Even a simple drybrushing of silver paint to make parts look more metallic improves things a fair bit. :D
So when you paint your Transformers figures do you put on Acrylic paint and then the Enamel thinner? Does the thinner wash away all of the paint by accident on the figure?

Well that’s why we have third parties. Plus, the toys hasbro makes have to be cheap for a wide audience as well as not have overly chippable paint that will get removed when a child handles them. Although I do see your point, there could be a little more thought.

1:09 I would personally mix metallic aluminum silver, with metal gun metal grey to essentially create a medium to dark tone silver.
I'd recommend using black paint and coloring drift with it.
