That depends. Sapient magic swords in these sorts of tales usually have some sort of agency in their master's actions, a certain ability to "guide" their master's hand. So, if ma'dam sword really wanted to stop the tragedy, she very well may have been able to at least try to prevent this.
Often a sword spirit, which seems slightly different then a sentient sword, really is only the magic of the blade, so I imagine she could prevent the blade from having it's gifts, but a blade is still sharp, and no commoners clothes can stop a sword, whereas sentient swords seem to have full control of themselves, usually even being able to over power their masters will, or strength to stop the blade if the sword believes itself to be doing something against their own wishes. Think excalibur vs I reincarnated as a sword, excalibur had a spirit and could choose its owner, but if Arthur became evil, it couldn't really stop him, but the sword in I got reincarnated as a sword was a sentient sword, able to move around freely and could most likely overpower Flo (his weilder) if he so chose

Someone with a strong will and good skills. I like that she did not force or impose herself on the listener, but offered herself. I like that she is calmer, more serious, elegant in her words. There are also regrets about the past and a thirst for revenge and a cold, calculating mind that is not afraid of blood. She is a weapon after all. But the listener is not a baker or a gardener. The listener is the one who picks up a weapon to use it for its intended purpose. She is also capable of caring and gratitude. I like this character. On the other hand, she did not warn about side effects before the listener took her. Of course, she told her story and one would have guessed that not everything is so simple. And perhaps she believed that this listener was different. But it still looks more like she simply grabbed a rare opportunity to simply not remain lying there abandoned. And she didn't spend much time persuading or tempting the listener, it was the listener's decision in the end. And yet this moment is not so simple. But this perhaps only makes the story more real and interesting. I also like the overall atmosphere of the story. Just like a blacksmith works tirelessly to create a masterpiece, you keep voicing again and again until you achieve a brilliant result. I also think the art is very suitable. Thank you.

There aren't any sequel scripts to this as of now. Chimeratech left a comment saying that they have no current plans for more, but since people have asked, they will take that into consideration. So there may be a chance, but nothing currently set. :)
Seems this sword is bit of a problem child, but if I was chosen to be her master and am able to resist her curse... Well, who am I to turn down a chance to unlock my potential as a Swordsman? I'll show just how strong my Defiant Soul is on my path to mastering this sword and maybe getting to bond with the spirit some more. Should be interesting to say the least. They said it was loosely inspired by the legends of Sengo Muramasa, a real swordsmith whose weapons gained a sinister reputation as the eras progressed. But the details of this story are all Chimera's own creation. It's fascinating to hear other legends of the past with sentient swords!

Oh, cool!! I have an Oath of Vengeance Paladin in a tabletop DnD game. I'm only a little way into the start of BG3. Usually, 3D video games of any kind give me awful motion sickness, but so far, this one has actually been okay, fingers crossed! I still don't want to risk playing for too long at a stretch, but it's nice to actually be playing something again. 😁

I do get how you feel in that regard too, I had to stop playing Spiderman Miles Morales due the web swinging causing me eye strain. I was a little bummed as it is a really good game. As for my Paladin, her name is Delilah, and she is a half-drow. I'm thinking of multiclassing her into either sorcerer or pact of the blade warlock. Not sure which just yet. And I'd love to get back to playing tabletop D&D. It's been nearly ten years since the last time I played.

Had a dream one time, that I was in Japan, and one night, while spending my night in the ryokan inn, in the hidden village, to get away and find inner peace and there were nights that I try to sleep. Until one night I heard the voice from outside and found that sword with the woman’s voice
As of this voice want me to wield this sword, but then I told her spirit in the sword about my problems and all the inner turmoil I’ve been through and still going through
*she somehow help me wield the sword and learn from her sword techniques, she said that it help cleanse my mind, heart and soul. Even though my mind and heart and soul can’t be healed from all the turmoils I had to go through.
I once asked her why she teach me? She answered that she sense my heart, that never found love and my mind and heart are like a storm, and a tsunami, and I am drowning. And she still want to help me

Before I sat down to watch your vid I had just wrapped up playing my Oath of Vengeance Paladin in Baldur's Gate 3.

Oh, cool!! I have an Oath of Vengeance Paladin in a tabletop DnD game. I'm only a little way into the start of BG3. Usually, 3D video games of any kind give me awful motion sickness, but so far, this one has actually been okay, fingers crossed! I still don't want to risk playing for too long at a stretch, but it's nice to actually be playing something again. 😁
@@nightshadequeenasmr Oh, you won't need to worry too much about Baldur's gate 3 on that front most likely. The slower pace should prevent any kind of motion sensitivity from being triggered.
I do get how you feel in that regard too, I had to stop playing Spiderman Miles Morales due the web swinging causing me eye strain. I was a little bummed as it is a really good game.
As for my Paladin, her name is Delilah, and she is a half-drow. I'm thinking of multiclassing her into either sorcerer or pact of the blade warlock. Not sure which just yet.
And I'd love to get back to playing tabletop D&D. It's been nearly ten years since the last time I played.

Sorry about that Nightshade Queen this story was truly a sad one but beautifully done I’d be honored to wield this mighty katana to help the spirit Avenge her past abuse I respect the way of the warrior the Bushido code to be precise plus Back in my Yugioh Days I’m was a warrior type master Buster Blader Silent Swordsman I’ve loved using them but there’s one monster who Was my True Ace the Warrior of Chaos Black Luster Soldier!!! I love his design and his Sword but ultimately what drew me to this mighty monster is the Lore the Balance of Light and Darkness becoming one but must Respected thank you for your work once again My Queen and sorry for bringing my Yugioh Stories into this 😅😅😅😅.
