I think so many people today are obsessed with miniatures and I can understand why. I'm glad you showed these today. Sylvanians are getting very expensive and these are a great alternative to be able to add to the collections. Awesome!!
So glad you found this helpful. Some of these sets are definitely worth the 5 bucks and a very economical way to add to a miniature collection. I’m pleased with the guacamole and sushi sets despite a few ugly items.
I liked seeing these sets, for that price they even come with some cool accessories. Most of the accessories you showed are suitable for Sylvanian's and they will certainly look great in a restaurant you created❤😊. My favorite was the sushi, the food is appetizing. I like your fuse box idea🤭!
Thank you! My favorites are the sushi and guacamole sets - lots of food items to use with the Sylvanians. Decent quality at affordable price. Although now that I have bought a total of 10 sets, it does add up! 😯 But our Sylvanians get so hungry and there are so many to feed! 😂
Very helpful video! I haven't seen these yet at my local five below but I will certainly be on the lookout for them now! I definitely want that sushi set! 😉
I’m so glad you found this helpful - thanks for letting me know! Hope you find them. Be sure to ask someone who works there because that store is so packed with items, it can be easy to miss.
Ohhh, these sets are cute for $5! Thank you for showing them in detail 😁 I've been checking our discount shops, nothing as fun as these though, hopefully the minis craze will spread more widely over here soon!
Oh, that would be nice if you get similar sets over there. Some of these sets are a great deal for $5. And the packaging is too cute - even though I don’t plan on saving the boxes.
LOL, that bento box was almost as big as the table! 😀 I had been looking for their Christmas set like crazy but they were always sold out. 😵💫Hopefully they'll bring it back this year. The spaghetti box was so cool! I think the Italian truck was my favorite. Some of the items in all of the sets could use a bit of touching up with paint, to make them look more appealing. Hey! The first ice cream truck drove down my street today! 😍 Crazy to hear we may get up to 65* today. Sheesh, I'm not ready to give up my sweatshirts, yet. Enjoy the sunshine! 😎
The Italian set is cool. Even though half of the items are too big for critters in that set, I could not resist the food items. The Christmas set was very nice. I used some items from it in Confectionery Row. It seemed short-lived and I had stumbled upon that set at a Five Below further from my house. It does make me wonder if they’ll bring it back this year - hope they do for you! There is a barbecue set that was hard to find last year but I just saw it back in the stores, so there is definitely hope for the Christmas set. Ahhh, the ice cream man. He visits my neighborhood frequently but haven’t heard his chimes yet. We are always tempted to run out and get something but they never post the prices on the truck and I know it’s a rip off. So the voice of reason tells us to go to ShopRite or Aldi and get ice cream on sale. Nothing like a good ole’ rocket pop from the ice cream man on a hot summer day as a kid, though. I actually have the air conditioner on today because it gets stuffy upstairs. I hope the warm up comes slowly, too. Maybe you gotta get some 3/4 sleeve shirts in your wardrobe for transition. I’ve been watching a lot of Bugs Bunny on WB Kids before bed - watched the one themed villains and thugs last night - pretty cool. Stay out of the rain this week!!
@@SylvanianWorld Back in NY, we always had Good Humor and Mr. Softee. Here, it's only Mr. Softee. (I miss those very cool Good Humor trucks!) I am tempted because I only want One serving of ice cream. ; D If I buy from the store...rut ro, then I have to eat even more! :-O LOL, I can't be trusted with ice cream in the house. Weatherman kept saying fog and rain this morning. It's been blue skies and sunny! He did mention rain for pretty much the rest of the week. All that makes me think of is the weeds will be tall and plentiful this Spring. Did you get that Crazy storm the other night?? My giant pine tree was throwing pine cones at the side of my house. : D That just made me think of the apple trees in Wizard of Oz. As my Mom always said, 'Run Between The Raindrops!' ; )
Woah!! I love that 5 Below is selling mini foods and how cool is that packaging. Even though some items are out of scale, many work well! I think the tacos and taco tray is my favorite, or maybe the little ketchup cups. Boba cups are a close second!! Definitely a great value!
The tacos are super cute and perfectly sized! The Guac set definitely provides enough minis for the critters to have a fiesta. And yes, the packaging is too cute and irresistible, although I have no room and don’t plan on saving the boxes. It’s exciting to have Five Below as an option for minis. 😀
I've heard of these but haven't gone shopping for them in person yet. It was helpful to see how the size works with Sylvanians and to get a close look at the quality. It was nice of Strawberry to stop by and help show off some of the items too. I think for $5 they're decent for the most part. Some of those items are looking a little sad though, like whatever is going on with the chocolate chip cookie thing.
Yes, most of them are decent for 5 bucks. The sushi and guacamole sets are a very good deal. They had a holiday set for Christmas that was a good one, too. Some sets are not as great but I still bought them for a couple of accessories. The cookie was a total cop out! They could have put a small round piece of cardboard instead and it would’ve been better. They are coming out with candy vending machines, but I think the machines will be too big for Critters.
Not really. I don’t have any or the Lil Woodzees buildings which I’m sure you know, scale well. I’m still trying to catch up on using all of my critter buildings. In the past at Hobby Lobby during Christmas time, I got little manger buildings with stone walls which look great with my Critters. I want to use them in a dungeon scene, like Count of Monte Cristo.
@@SylvanianWorld You will show us the finish product, will you not? So many projects, so little time. Pride And Prejudice, Las Meninas by Velasquez, DoReMi from the Sound Of Music, The Venice Opera Ball........ Things in my head that I want to replicate with the Critters. Good book choice, by the way. Good Luck!
@@justasking506 The Sound of Music is my favorite! My family took me to see it in the movies when I was a toddler. I had already memorized the record. They said I sang really loud in the movie theatre! I am now introducing the songs to my granddaughter!

I had not seen these sets, but I’m going to look for them now! Thanks for sharing!
