I think it has to do with the fact of you going through an entire island, completing its tasks and whatever. Suddenly your fighting someone or some bots and they end up destroying your ship and loot you.

Inside the smooth brains of crews like this, repeatedly saying the n word at others makes others think they're big and strong and scary and that it's not even worth the time it takes to get sunk by them. In reality, it just makes them look pathetic, and gives even more reason to sink them.

Tbh i hope they don't. These type of players make the game more interesting. I've got sunk numerous times by toxic players, then i came back, sunk them and sold all their loot lol. I kinda feel bad sinking nice people, so toxic people are a requirement for me to succeed as a pirate.

Had someone roll up on me at an outpost I was sitting at the other day, SOT LFC chat in discord was so dry, no one wanted to join my grind sesh. So I sat around and waited. Some fellow gamers rolled up and Athena kegged my sloop, no cosmetics on yet, no emissary raised. They just wasted an Athena keg and started saying “you’re a dirt n****r!” And yelling obscenities. Honestly the wasted Athena keg irritated me more, that green explosion is never worth it compared to the commendations
This is the exact reason I am trying to learn from my mistakes and get better at the game, so that I can solo arena sweats. Because they're usually the most toxic (and sadly have skill due to being arena sweats). It's not cool hearing them slander and curse a newbie crew. I can't solo all 4 at once on a small ship (On land, I can, did so yesterday against 4 LSD's and won). But on a ship, I can't. And really want to learn how to, because they don't deserve anything but an ass whooping so bad that they feel like quitting.
Best way to deal with the toxicity is with skill. Love the content. Good stuff here!

I saw those guys and they were pretty rude and were saying some pretty sexist stuff and other rude things so I left the game but luckily got all my loot in.
Also, events have a substantially higher chance of spawning with higher loot. When I would stack 4-5 FotD.. literally as soon as I would leave the fort zone I would get krakened. 100% of the time.
Imagine dropping the hard r multiple times over a game like it wasn't even that much loot

As a mildly beginner i was solo sloopin when I met full anti french racists even if I was friendly they instant killed me when they heard my accent, so I lived back, killed the guy on my sloop, sailed away from their galeon to repair and let them chase me, then boarded them, put down anchor, killed one of them, could have killed all of them but I went to fast and didn't take my time... so they finally got me, then I said GG and they were insulting so I asked "dude why being so toxic" and one of them answered "because I hate you"... I was like, man... this is mean... how can someone act like that... i'm not an IA or something, there are human being behind players...

Rule number one in sea if thieves. Dont get attached to your loot. Its not worth a damn thing! Once you learn that, the game becomes so much more enjoyable.

We sacrificed our loot to the Red Sea last night because we had 2 brigs chase and fight us for hours and we’re being super racist and toxic. We just decided we would rather waste a full night trolling them while on the run rather than give up one dab-loon to them wanna be pirates. I’m all for a good fight but not while being out numbered and having slurs shouted at us.
A few days ago i was playing this and they sever spawned me into an outpost with 1 full stacked unclassified gems i was like no way

The Eye of Reach is for Shooting Pirates & Enemies far away. Not like a thin blunderbuss weapon
The EoR is for killing pirates, which it does effectively at close range.

Far too much toxicity from both sides, both are the players I hate to meet in game. Also Rare do need to get rid of the double gun meta if they want to keep increasing the popularity of the game imo, at least in Adventure mode.

Do you know what’s unfortunate,So I join in a galleon right, everyone left but I started to stack up the ship and people started to join we voted for a reapers emissary and found a skull fortress we were stacked because of the island we spawned at and we got to the skull fortress ash wind bosses and wasted all the cannonballs and wooden planks that I stacked myself a sloop came but we had to run cause no cannonballs it was Embarrassing because why not just fight without cannonballs but one rookie mistake that my teammates got the legendary black gun powder barrel of the dammed left it on the deck.The sloop was shooting up in the air and hits it I was like bruh omg and then they left leaving me to leave why can
we just stack up again and try again but it is what it is.
We lost maybe 200k we were reaper 5 did ok until a better one came along, they sank our galley, then we had a teammate hiding at reapers kegged them, then a brig came in and kicked everyone's butt, we tried though didn't get mad I'm just trying to level up, idc so much for gold, I have plunder pass, I'm 35 reaper and 7 Athena and 35 hunters call, everything else is 75.
