I am an engineering student in India although I'm not from IITs but I have cleared jee mains and appeared for jee advanced which is the toughest exam in India and the 2nd toughest in the world. It's given to take admission in engineering colleges. The competition for that is so hard. Our of every 5 Indian students atleast 3 students choose maths or science as there main subject I e they either dream to become doctor or engineer. India produces largest number of doctors and engineers in the world but for them also the competition is very tough. The students are so passionate about it. There are mostly over a hundred engineering colleges in a single state in India apart from the IITs. You can easily find atleast one technical college in even the smallest cities in India. It's more hard for students from those colleges to get hired in a renowned company. That's why people work hard to get into IITs as it's comparatively easier to get a decent job package from there. Thankyou KBS for covering that. I think people in Korea are unaware of this smart side of India, thankyou for letting them know that India is also famous for studies apart from curry and naan and Bollywood. 💜

Only if i knew how the reservation policies work kiddo .. long way to go for u
@@rohanshende4338so you think all of them belongs to backward class?🤣 You guys are funny trying to defend illegitimate laws still going on after 75 yrs of independence 🤦 bihar has lot many general category people who are interested in education n becoming something. I am not from bihar btw just telling you this from experience. General category student needs to get 95% whereas backward class one only 80. N he is getting 64%. Just think about tye dude from general category who doesn't hv much of facilities or proper financial condition trying to get 95% 🤦 15% more than reservation students not some 15 marks its %🤦
I am an engineering student in India although I'm not from IITs but I have cleared jee mains and appeared for jee advanced which is the toughest exam in India and the 2nd toughest in the world. 💜
Great respect to all the students.
One of my seniors is in IIT Roorkee ... whenever I see IIT anywhere it immediately reminds me of him and I feel so proud that he made it 🤩🙌💜
Studying in IIT BHU and seeing our Alumni Nikesh Arora sir on the Korean television makes me feel proud of Indian Education system even with its flaws.
Great to see you guys interacted with sophomores !
Thanks ❤❤❤🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
Amazing film! Loved every part of it! 🔥👏🏻
I was having a hard time concentrating on my studies after watching I got back to my senses...
feeling proud being an IITian
IITs are extremely prestigious & tough places to get in.

IIT ians who are from general category are really good.
Cracking the exam is not a joke
So in your opinion only general category are good.. others are not good even if they beat the upper class in exams.. such a dirty casteist mind you have..
@@_Nigil_ it's harsh reality. Reserved category cutoff is much lower

06:20 One IIT is at Guwahati city which is located at North-Eastern state Assam. Not mentioned on the map.
Same I was too gonna say that
Noo it’s not iit Guwahati
IIT is both a blessing and a curse. Nobody talks about the unsuccessful peoples who worked really hard but not get admitted.
Yes so sad..but competition is everywhere
People can't avoid it
@@ori5581but the competition for IIT is on a whole another level and kinda overrated too
It's better to study at foreign colleges through a scholarship programme , way less competition and better life
@SportsParadise_ overrated lol? Not sure about that but Indian people who studied from iit got jobs in big American companies, so I think I do not agree with your pov... but okay whatever not everyone can afford going outside India. Scholarships will only help ya in academics, not your expenses(for personal use). How are you going to get money for living, food, transportation and several other things? It isn't as easy as it seems. The people who can't crack JEE go outside India (most of the time). Whatever I have stated is what I've heard, because I do not really live in India or something...~ but I have visited the uni quite a few times it is pretty good!
@@annbloomsall ya ofc they get a good job after studying from IITs, I'm just saying that there are also some much easier options than IITs which doesn't affect the mental health as bad as jee.
Most of the foreign students do a part time job to support their expenses ,so studying in foreign is def not a bad option. Where are you from tho?
One of the many parts of India at present life of every aspirants something unimaginable❤
An excellent documentary!!
Thank you KBS for this wonderful documentary..
I would really love to see a documentary on iima Indian institute of management Ahmedabad like this
