I'm pretty impressed with what you've learned in such short time. The hard thing with thai is that you speak opposite. All in all, I love your videos and I've learned so many languages learning from you. @6:56 is what we call "num vanh"
I lived in Thailand for a while, the food you get used to how spicy it is. After a while you get a real taste for it and develop your tastebuds to differentiate the spices. I miss real Thai food, the stuff here in the UK is nowhere near as nice. The street vendors are some of the best in the world.
There are a few good places for Thai food in the UK, sadly Oli's Thai in Oxford has closed now but just discovered a tiny restaurant in Southampton doing really good stuff including some offal dishes (Bangkok cuisine, not aware of any good Isaan places sadly).

It's such an amazing talent you have
I love your videos Ari! They always bring me joy even on the roughest days- thank you sincerely for sharing. 🙏❤🤙
Your so free with your information. I was proud of you when you told one guy you were there for 2 days and told the other guy 5 days. Good(safe)to be on the need to know.
I have ridden with the tuk tuk guy at ~4:15 twice lately, both times from exactly where you found him. If you're doing this well with the spicy food on day two, you'll have no trouble with the inputs, but it'll take a while for the outputs to stabilize. I hope you were able to spend a few weeks in Bangkok.
I'm taking my first Thai reading lesson this morning. Wish me luck!
Good luck! 😃
I miss Thailand so much, beautiful country and people, mind you going around Bangkok on a tuk tuk can be quite nerve wracking!!
you seriously need to make more of these even if its just the Chinese reaction videos, we never get tired of them! i realize its probably a lot of work to travel and pay expenses but you dont have 5 miliion subs for no reason!! i keep rewatching videos because its just such good content.
You guy did a good job Thais always smiles and have a good manner your Thai so good to.
Highly respect you that try to communicate in Thai.
I've been in Thailand for about 50 days and your Thai ability is wayy better than mine... but to be fair, i haven't really studied Thai at all lol
I cant wait until I see the next part! I really appreciate this camera view opposed to the full 360 view. Thanks for all that you do!
6:19 They were asking you which region's food do you like the most, not spiciness. ภาค (Phâk) means region | เผ็ด (Phět) means spicy. The answer should've been ภาคเหนือ (Phâk Nuéa), ภาคอีสาน (Phâk Īsán), ภาคกลาง (Phâk Klāng), or ภาคใต้ (Phâk Taì).
6:18 shes asking wich thai food do you like the most as in from wich area , north south middle, shes asked Pak nai wich basically mean wich area. i love how you grab the words from your brain so quick its crazy
You're so cute trying to speak Thai. For Thai people, just you try to talk, even if you can't speak properly, but we will try to understand what you have communicated. We like people who try to speak Thai, we don't mind if you don't speak Thai correctly. We say that trying to speak Thai is your charm. Or even better, if you say " Krub " at the end of your sentence, it will make you look very cute and humble in our culture. The word " Krub " is used for men and the word " Ka " is used for women.
I love your openness when traveling.
Is it true that you only learned Thai for three weeks before coming to Bangkok? That's shocking that you can communicate like this, it's awesome.👍👍
The people are incredible nice there it’s great to see!
Bangkok is a great place to enjoy food. Make sure you visit the northeast of Thailand as well. Sausages in banana leaves and noodles are the best in Thailand.

OMG! This is so impressive! Big fans from Thailand!
You speak Thai very clearly with the exact accent.so cool.❤❤❤
I live in Thailand and you’re doing it like the locals! What a great way to see Thailand. Your Thai is getting goood
I love traditional spicy Thai food.
Great surprise to start the week ... This was a great video ...you would make Laushou proud of how you took the language game.
I started watching polyglots videos after i discovered laoshu505000 youtube channel. I always thought his content could have been even better if he had the chance to travel the world and comunicate with people in their own country. He didn't in the end, but i'm happy seeing you travelling across the world.
RIP Moses, the OG polyglot GOAT.
I don't know that guy, still sad when people die. Was it feom covid?
@@KeyGameUniverse no he had heart problems
Feel you. Miss him too
@@KeyGameUniverse He passed away more than a year ago because of heart complications. I'm pretty sure he basically invented this genre of videos. Xiaoma uploaded a video about his death on the channel.
RIP Moses. He was the OG youtube polyglot.
Perfect encapsulation of Xiaoma's insane language skills: he speaks amazing Thai while literally having never heard of probably the most popular Thai dish!
Try some of your Mandarin with them. Many of them must speak it. They will freak out! Good video content 😊
Towards the south most don't in my experience 😄
I taught myself how to read Thai. So easy once you catch on 😊
I'm pretty impressed with what you've learned in such short time. The hard thing with thai is that you speak opposite. So let's say in English we would say "I am eating a salad" we would say "salad I eat" so it's the vocabulary plus putting words in the right order.
I just got back from bangkok! So good to see it again through your video! I love the Thai people! So cool 😎
