I mean the Arakune was still losing anyway. The thing about Arakune is that he's a win condition kind of character. He needs Curse to properly function, and once he gets it, *oh boy, does he function*. But I think that's a fair trade off for being arguably the worst character in the game pre-curse
@@cozmic8330 I don't think so. Glass Cannon is stuff like Akuma or Chipp. Powerful offense but lacking in defense (like health), which makes them easier to kill with fewer interactions to balance out
@@El_chara Most tier lists rank him highly and he's pretty easy to learn. Arakune is technically stronger, but he requires alot of practice to use effectively and precise comboes as well. You can't just win by going gorilla with him like you could with Susanoo or Hakumen
Yet for all the great things Arakune has going for him people STILL complain against a good arakune who can do bug loops, which is his main sour of damage. Only has any sort of pressure or neutral WITH bugs active, almost ALL of his poke gets beaten and to top it off, his teleports are INCREDIBLY predictable. So....where is the issue here?
They needed to buff his normals and neutral instead, many of his combos can fill the curse bar in just 1 combo, once he has it he goes berserker, its impossible to block that mess , specially on netplay, if you are in the corner omg gl dealing with him
It's mostly due to his Curse. The instant that meter gets full, prepare for bullshit galore as shit will be flying everywhere and right into your face. Combine that with how Arakune Players going for this promptly go bonkers due to how Curse works on their end, and all of a sudden those pokes and teleports become hard to focus on simply because there's going to be pressure out the damn ass.
Arakune having shit neutral seems fine imo Considering he pulls out a warcrime out of his metaphorical ass whenever that curse gets filled up, work for it, get rewarded for it. Set back by low hp as well he cannot play recklessly without meter
