Between 1975 & 1980, I attended Oral Roberts University. Danniebelle Hall was on stage in solo concert. I was so impressed, so amazed at how she took out time to minister to EVERY person that stayed after the concert. During that same time period, I saw Danniebelle a second time, in her own home. I observed her graciousness again when she invited me to sit at her piano & sing for her. Never have I met a more patient & self-less artist. Still miss her artistry in the world today. So gifted, kind & in love with the Lord.
Simply brilliant in every way music lyrics and that voice and the total effect on the listener uplifting inspiring and worshipful...thank you Lord for giving us this great Talent ! ..
I've been singing Danniebelle's songs since I was 4 years old. Some of my favorites include: Because I'm Me/Jesus Loves Me, I Welcome Every Moment, etc. Even when I couldn't find the music, the words have stayed in my heart & mind for 34 years! Daniebelle Hall was brilliant and a true worshipper.
Wow...this song takes me STRAIGHT BACK to my teenage years and long HOT summers when I would play this album OVER AND OVER again!! Loved Danniebelle Hall and this was actually my first introduction to the great Jazz Pianist Joe Sample as well. I used to sing this as a solo and my brother would accompany me...MEMORIES!! ♪♫♥♫♪♥
This is an amazing song! Amazing message, amazing recording. I've been looking for it on CD for years! "This Moment" is the name of the album, released in 1975 on Light Records. Some of the Hawkins Family did BGV's, Bill Maxwell and Andrae Crouch produced it with Bill playing drums. This song, and also the title cut are personal favorites. I have the "Unmistakeably Danniebelle" album with "God Will" and "Mary Had A Little Lamb," but I'm not TH-cam savvy yet; but once I learn... :-)
She came to our church and she had my wife accompany her so she could lead in front! Wow no pressure right? LOL. I think What kind of Love along with “It’s Freedom have gospel, soul, funk grooves and Billy M. holding it down on drums. I love the person you were to us Danniebelle. And “some glad morning when this life is oer…” you CAN tell me what kind of LOVE this is! glad morning when this
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, THIS SONG! Always have, always will. The message is so encouraging and gives great hope through Jesus Christ for the life to come. Now, if I could just find it on CD...! :-) Talk about "unsung," Danniebelle is truly one of the most unsung Gospel artists around. Thanks for the upload.
I know how you feel I just rediscovered her I grew up listening to her music Her Christmas album comes to mind O come O come Emmanuel was my favorite God is with her for all eternity
