Wow, what a voice. This child can sing anything; and I'm very glad she does.

Judith had her own style and was one of the very best in this genre. Innovative and compelling, she captured the very essence of this wonderful American music form and added a little touch of that special Aussie magic! 🦘

Judith often employed this bold vocal dynamic within many of the songs she did as a Seeker. It is an essential component of that extraordinary blend that is capable of captivating the listener almost instantaneously. No one would have purposefully thought of inserting a jazz artist into a folk group. Happenstance or serendipity....it's fascinating to see how things came together to produce what is arguably the greatest folk group ever. jtk

Once upon a time a girl from the American South travelled to the land of OZ to hear a talented lady from South Australia sing with her mateys. Upon visiting a Brisbane record store, the American girl from Louisiana heard over the speakers the Australian girl's song of steaming down the river into New Orleans" Louisiana...what a memorable moment! Thanks to Judith for the fantastic song and to the guys at the Record Exchange on Adelaide St. Thanks, Bob, for this slide show!

Jennifer, Judith was from Melbourne Victoria, not South Australia, although she lived for some years in Tasmania as well.

If one wants to know how a song must be performed just should listen to Judith Durham's rendition.

I downloaded Erwin and Levi Singing from TH-cam.
On Groove Music, it came up with this song.
    Now I am confused.

A Jamieson "Love the Time": A young lady (1:10 - 1:16) flaming with love to
the coolness of an autumn day gracefully & with a tear of joy cried out, "Peter,
it's time". Yes, it was...On an autumn day filled with the sound of love.
    With joy & gladness,
    Veritas,
    Jamieson
