Tier 8 and up on NA plays now in 2024 the way you would see tier 2 and 3 play in 2017
1: 40% hide waiting for everyone to die
2: 30% yolo suicide then rage about no help
3: 30% understand the concept and game mechanics of blitz and care about stats
Sadly you can get an entire team of 1s and 2s and only occasionally get a 3
Whan you do get a 3 cherish the moment the are few and far between 😂
I think the WG map rotation has had an impact as well, it seems nobody knows where to go anymore (or read a lineup for that matter).
NA has been ruined for a while, always multiple afk, then you are lucky if the “team” strays not far from spawn.
Or else the mediums and lights race directly into the TD fire lanes and get wiped out
At least half the AFK's I get on my teams, aren't really AFK. A lot of them will sit on the spawn, pretending to be link dead, but really they are preserving their hp until near the end of the match, then they'll roll out and pick off low health enemies with little risk.
8 years on NA and my brain is fried.
Count your blessings you don't play on EU.. I've never played under the 150-200 ping range, I play on mobile data so that's just what I'm used to..
But the sheer amount of kids with main-character syndrome is unbearable. Games go by generously seasoned with sos pings. You barely load in and someone is pinging already. Nearly every single game has at least a player that pings every 2 seconds as soon as the cooldown is up.. meanwhile you poor sod try and listen to gun firing sounds to go in when they're on reload, and get absolutely wrecked because you mistook and they got a shell while looking straight at you.
I've even gone to the dark side and pushed a few spam pingers out into the open. But they never learn.
Part of the problem with the NA server is that WG years ago merged in the South America server so we get a lot of players from South America with crap internet. Also the NA server has had questionable connection reliability. Of course WG will never admit that the hamster running the NA server needs swapping out.

I hate to admit this, but before the game begins I look at the names. Let's just say, I'm never surprised by the skill level matching my expectations based on names. I'll leave it at that.
NA, the land where hungover adults let their phone babysit their kids. At least you're not limited to the NA server. 😅
Getting yelled by camping heavies, mediums and lights is just normal. It's an accepted practice on NA.
My favorite is when the camping heavies are yelling at the lights to charge the front lines.
I noticed at the beginning of games half the players won't move from spawn for the first 10 to 20 seconds
Yep, I have come to life in the game half a dozen times today and my team was halfway across the map! How's that for server function. I always have a ping from 20 to 30! Every other game a tank is afk.
@@Banjoman-p7t I like to take a position soon as the game starts, and more and more I find myself without any support close by. It often results in me getting a lot of spots, but the other teams notice and I wind up getting rushed by multiple players. The weekends are particularly bad. I guess I am going to have to start playing more conservative.
Another thing that's been bothering me is lights and meds tanks going the heavy route even when there's multiple meds/lights.

It's a double edged sword though. I'm happy when they're on the red team. It helps me pad my stats!

This is the most frustrating thing about our server, there are just some players that are fully disconnected from the ‘meta’ and it costs a game very often, you put it very nicely Bushka 👍💯, but yeah the biggest problem is the merge with the south American server because there is a community barrier so very little of them actually try and learn about the game on TH-cam or else where and instead they play the game ‘randomly’😂😂😂

I've seen an influx of Spanish only speaking grubs that only speak Spanish, which, makes it impossible for English only speaking grubs to understand, me, being the latter.
You should try the EU server since we got the Mordor server and the orcs merged in!
We on EU have the Ukranians with not even the same alphabet!

I feel a lot better after seeing a professional have the same reaction i do. I have learned so much from your channel and trying to implement them on NA is mind bending.
The Meta on NA is simply, “Everyone rush med flank and hope they don’t do the same so we can steamroll their meds and turn this match into a 7 on 4”
Except sometimes both teams rush med flank and it turns into, “wait until someone gives up and drives into the middle, kill them in 2 seconds, then roll forward.”

Capping it out in a slow heavy because you have no faith in the rest of the team to kill a one-shot light tank is exactly how I remember Blitz.
Yes, there are a lot of games where it seems that no one knows how to play or they have just gotten warped by playing special battle. It is very hard to "carry" a battle when you go Med side (with no help) and you get swarmed by 6 tanks.
There should be more videos like this of the NA Shenanigans. :P

That island you mentioned is actually a decent position if you have the right tank and game knowledge. For example, the STB has enough gun depression to sit in the water behind the island and use the tree for camo, letting you shoot up into the hill without getting spotted. It's a good spot, you just need to know when to use and have the right tank
The people who know what their doing are easy to play against because they're predictable. It's the idiots who you gotta watch out for because you never know what they're going to do 😂

Yeah Bushka NA is gone to hell too many players go up on tier and don’t know what they’re doing. Is crazy bad. Playing a light tank works a lot better because you can get out of situations faster.
NA meta is messed up.... as Bushka takes a heavy on the medium route on Catilla. *SMH*. No, I get it. It does feel like the average skill level has drastically declined on the NA servers over the past 2 years. Many true noobs with few battles and many morons with tons of battles but mid 40% win rates. It's awful. Very often you have medium tanks camping in TD positions. Heavy tanks refusing to go the heavy route and TDs never moving off of their initial spot, even when there is nobody to shoot. I blame this on WG for the awful matchmaking and for how easy they made it for noobs to climb up the ranks to higher tier battles.
You haven't seen EU after the RU merger,people swearing every 2-3 games,afk players every game,people being REALLY stupid with their plays, IT'S HELL

I have to say the convoluted NA meta is worse lately than it's ever been. Could it have something to to with constant "fun game modes" going on and the geographical and cutural differences in the US and Canada and all of latin America? Maybe some combo of all that... I don't know. But it sure is frustrating. Take care Bush and It's nice to see you back.
I love how Bushka tries to understand the NA meta as if there's some form of thinking involved. Once you've played NA long enough, you realize many players don't even know tanks have different classes/roles on the battlefield. Had success camping with a grille; let's try the same spot with an E-100! Won a game on heavy side; let's do it again in a sheridan! I've come to expect any tank could drive to any position at any time lol
I have a friend who plays on a Nintendo Switch, he always loads in 18 seconds late. Nothing he can do about it, often has to stay close to spawn depending on the map

When NA merged wirh SA the quality of players dropped significantly..now im not saying its only the SA players that dragged down NA but a vast majority of them do not have the skills to play the higher tiers. Couple that with WG selling tickets to tier 10 with zero battles its made for a complete Schit show of incompetency.
When did the merge happen? Just curious, I wasn’t aware of this combing of servers…

I've been playing for about six or seven years off and on. Never saw a South American server. Always saw plenty of Hispanic names. Don't know what you're talking about.
@@skipdreadman8765 once upon a time the North American continent and South American continent had their own separate servers..then one day WG decided to merge them and ever since then and with the way they have made getting to tier ten on day one so easy there have been ping issues player quality at the upper tiers and just a schit show on NA server..im not saying its the players from SA that are the issue im saying that change ushered in the downward slope of the game on NA

The reason Americans do so well in war is because war is chaos and Americans practice chaos on a daily basis
It's either the MTs and LTs don't contest the flank to prevent crossfires vs the friendly HTs, resulting in enemy shells coming from all directions, OR the friendly HTs spawn snipe instead of holding chokeholds then getting overrun by red HTs with 2-3 more braincells working at the same time, resulting in battered MTs and LTs having to chew through copious amounts of red hp on top of dealing with hard to pen armor to have a chance of pulling a win out of the server hamster's butt. Almost always happen in Castilla.
I love how you said, "it's harder in a light because everyone's dead":) Loved it so much. Sometimes, I don't understand how tanks can die so fast in a game:) It's like a challenge. So, the better players now try to do damage as early as possible in a game as otherwise it will be too late. I think it is part of the issue, causing 1 - 2 min games meta now on NA.
WG has continually made guns deal more and more damage while hp has stayed the same. Leading to faster games.

I have no idea what the fuck is going on. Every single game is an absolute crapshoot with no actual decisions being made, people just see colors and push buttons with very little correlation.
Glad you on NA to experience the AFK and many other scientific anomalies. Yes the never ending Pro’s cussing you out for not following them to die etc. NA has become the extremist paradise of toxicity. I don’t even go there so NA losses many players. Let it sink quietly while the rest of us do more positive and productive things in life.
More often than not, the AFK's are due to the server dropping players.
You’ve just described the NA experience in a nutshell. Every battle 2-4 tanks won’t move at all in the first two minutes. Then there’s the light sitting all the way at the back in a bush sniping. (Not spotting) And the requisite Grille front line brawling the heavies. Not to mention the meds who will not stick together and almost invariably one is going to brawl the heavies with predictable results. If you want to see the current state of affairs on NA. Look no further than a battle on mines. The hill is no longer the objective. The heavies will go town/cap. The meds will attack the hill (maybe) and try to brawl the enemy heavies (inexplicably the reds go hill, not your team) and the TD’s sitting at the back are doing just that, SITTING, not shooting. How do I know? Watch as the enemy heavies summit the hill drive right over the top to engage the meds and…..yeah…..they’ll do so unabated as your TD’s perfectly positioned to make them pay for exposing their entire tank in the wide open, will actually do nothing!!! They won’t fire a single shot at them. And thus dies your meds. Next the enemy heavies will drive straight at the TD’s who apparently are still asleep and eliminate them. Of course the heavies sitting in cap haven’t fired a shot yet and will now be easy pickings for the reds. Go figure! If you can explain any of that go right ahead as I’m totally clueless as to what’s going on in NA land. But I do know my WR has been on a steady decline for quite some time now with no relief in sight.
NA server is so unpredictable. Some do have understanding of the map meta and where to go. But most of the time you see people clueless on where to go and they follow blindly the first couple of tanks in wherever direction they go. They don’t know why taking “x” or “y” position is important. I’ve lost games where my team has the right position and enemy team went for a crap position. Guess why? My team full YOLOs into the bad position instead of holding the good position and we lose. The only constant on NA, the only meta true meta is the way of the YOLO. Brainless YOLO into the enemy team.
It's frustrating and has been getting worse. My win loss ratio has tanked.

Heavies like to drive circles around the map, i cant tell you how many times iv seen heavies in enemy spawn

The meta is driving in a big circle around the edge of the map no matter what. You dont stop. You dont turn around. You just go along the circle until u win or lose.
Looks no different on the EU server now. I had a break for about a year and came back to a shambles.

I wish someone could explain how these people get to tier 8 or higher yet don't know where to go on maps that have been in in the same rotation for 6 months or more. It just baffles me..last 5 games on Mines and only 1 of them did the blue team go mid hill..but bet your ass the red team always does..thats what pisses me off..how do I keep getting on the mentally challenged team?

This is my tenth year playing blitz and this year the playerbase has gotten dumber and dumber. I've never been rushed as much as nowadays, with players camping and just being annoying.

Nah dude it's clearly your lack of skill and not being able to win a 1 v 4/5/6/7 because that's a realistic expectation to have on anyone in WOTB.
No but for real though anyone who says "Aww just get better." Or "Skill issue" and you've lost a 1v4-7. Like wtf are you supposed to do to them if they're all together? You'll do nothing. Because you can't beat those odds unless the enemies literally shit their brains out at the end of the battle.
My WR would be so much higher if we had reliable people on NA, but we fucking don't. I almost don't even wanna play T10 because these clowns don't know the difference in mechanics between HEAT and APCR
They wait tell the end and try to pickup low HP tanks, NA server has no idea what we are doing. Everyone just kind of runs wild and does not push or work lines like you would think you should.
So like like last comment on the MM change video. Nothing really changed going back to how it was. There's no Meta, there's no common sense gameplay. And i tend to agree that when you look at the team performance at the end it does reflect that the guys down south are generally clueless about tactics and team work. Of course there are always exceptions.
I had a tier 10 game wit 3 k dmg and all 6 teammates combined for a total of less damage then me alone. And of course we lost.

I have played NA for 9 years but gave up regular battles a couple years ago. I play fun modes only or I don’t play. Lately, those modes are becoming steam rolls just like regular battles. So I’m probably going to quit the game completely.
Dearest Bushka, it's a pitiful crying shame that this generation of young players don't know how to play this game properly . And there are way too many that have a immature irresponsable ( Don't Care ) attitude. Their selfish & nieve Thoughts., they sit at spawn waisting VALUABLE TIME hoping someone else will spot opponents. Or they don't participate in battle at all. Many stop playing in middle of battles as well , one of their irresponsable excuses is - they had to answer the phone. I'm seriously thinking if there was a real world War, the west would lose because of our young generation immature selfish behavior.

I only play NA but, yeah. SO many NOT AWAKE players in start. Sit forever and then go in game. And they lone wolf more and more. I say C and team splits to A B and D!!!!. Yep it is issue. Interesting it is not like that in AS or EU server.
Hangin out with the wang out. Yeah that happens a lot on this server. I think the confusion with the lack of definitive Meta on NA starts with Update 5.5. That aside, now we have these rotating maps. Add kids being out of school now, and the large noob player base and you have the perfect recipe for absolute crap. Welcome to the NA server. The Castilla game was a classic! lol
I'm in the US and the NA server is all jacked. Young players? Sus internet? Multiple AFKs? I'm not sure but you can never count on the right sides of maps to have the right kind of tanks. It's literally a crap shoot every. single. game. I've been playing for 7 years and it's progressively gotten worse. I will say, however, with the new /revised/revisited matchmaking, my winrate is UP! WTF?!?!?!
