yes of course! the pre-orientation program for incoming mit students is optional, but students can come earlier (~1 week) on campus and attend an FPOP (freshmen pre-orientation program). in my FPOP, we learned more about the physics behind building an ideal glider/rocket, then tried building our own (glider out of balsa wood, water rocket out of plastic soda bottles/other materials). i enjoyed it a lot and met lots of people i'll continue staying friends with/keeping up with, and the FPOP made me appreciate course 16 (aeroastro) more!
Pls make a video on which awards extracurricular activities academics you have (it will help me too cuz my major is also computer science and as a 9th grader don't know that much) will be waiting for your reply
Hello I am a passionate student of technology and programming, with a strong aspiration to study at MIT. Currently, I am working on innovative scientific and research projects outside the traditional framework of education, aiming to build strong extracurricular activities and projects that reflect my skills and creativity. My goal is to apply to the university without obtaining a high school diploma or a traditional academic record. I would like to know: Can I rely solely on my achievements and personal projects for admission? What are the steps required to achieve this? I look forward to your response and advice. Thank you very much!
Hey Catherine , really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with more Quality Editing in your videos and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail and also help you with the overall youtube strategy and growth ! Pls let me know what do you think ?
Hey Catherine, love your videos, tried reaching out to you through Insta but I wanted to know whether your FTC experience helped you get into MIT because I participate in a similar competition called VEX.
You are now on my list of "Must meet" MIT students.
I'm looking forward to seeing you at MIT next year!
