  • Playing through the Unification scenario, advanced rules, random international intervention. One other quick mistake fix: when the Pakistani supply depot was hit with a Strike 2 in turn 3 or 4, that would have halved its supply range, putting a lot of the western Pakistani units out of supply. In the end, it doesn't end up mattering to the outcome.

I have my first Next War game arriving soon (Korea 2nd ed.). I have heard good things about this system but have never played it. Nice video that gives me a good preview of what to expect. This particular volume piques my interest, but it is too expensive on the secondary market right now, so I'll wait for the GMT reprint. Thanks!

Nice! I own Korea as well, but have yet to play it. I did just finish a face to face game of Vietnam and that was a lot of fun. My one top for you would be to learn the basic rules first; there’s already a ton of detail there, and the advanced rules will be a huge step up, so having that solid foundation to build on is important. I cannot imagine someone jumping into the advanced game without someone to teach it.

Wow, great video. Looks to much for me though. Is this worth picking up to play using the Standard rules?
Did you ever do the stream with Big Board Gaming?

Nice vid mate. Hey I'm starting to interview new youtubers in the wargame space. Would you be interested in chatting with me live on Stream yard either with camera or not [ your choice] ?

      Sure! That would be awesome.
Not sure if you remember, but we met at Game On last year before the pandemic; I was the guy who convinced you to play Westphalia right before you left to catch your flight.

As a Pakistani I’m intrigued by this game. Pakistan is naturally in a defensive position. I’m wondering does the map range from Kashmir in the north to Rajasthan desert in the coast?

It’s a very good game! There are multiple scenarios, I’m playing one with a friend right now where Pakistan is actually the attacker, and they got full Chinese support.
The map doesn’t go quite that far. It’s projected kind of weird, north is actually to the upper right. The right side of the map is Kashmir, and the left side goes up to Sri Ganganagar, just kind of catching the end of the flat desert.
