Nice collection. It Amazes me how great those early 45RPM and EP's Look and sound. When we get into the seventies, with the black-and-white photos, they just seem to be a little bit cheap and unimaginative.

good stuff Joe...love the EP's!!....great covers....I love all the music from "Roustabout" and "Spinout".....also, there is a great moment in "It Happened at the World's Fair" where Elvis sings "Relax" to Yvonne Craig and it's like a ballet of movement between the the two of them, so good.....Change of Habit I always liked especially the "Rubberneckin" segment.....I remember when Elvis sang "Witchcraft' in a duet with Frank Sinatra on his tv special.......I could go on and on.....good tribute to the King....thanks for doing this Joe.

I would slip a nice piece of clean cardboard (preferably like the kind collectors use for their Comic books) in between the record and pic sleeve or cardboard sleeve to prevent any unnecessary ware that will occur. Again, just a thought and beautiful collection you have.
I was listening to an Elvis interview from 1962 recently, and Elvis confessed that he had always wanted to be a doctor, and that he often read medical journals and, of course, the Physician's Desk Reference, so apparently he kept himself quite knowledgeable about the side effects of various medications and their negative interactions. I had never heard him discuss anything like that before, so when I went back to watch Change of Habit (where he played a doctor) I thought to myself, "Ahhh...it all makes sense now!" (The interview was the same one that was on the "Elvis Aron Presley" silver box set put out by RCA some years ago, but, strangely enough, the entire medical discussion was edited out.)
Joe! my friend! your elvis collection never ceases to amaze me! i have been unable to even see a copy of these in person let alone own one! one of these days im gonna drive the 15 hours and hit up infinity records! i would have to save up quite a bit because i know id spend alot! by the way did you like the joan jett 45 i sent you, i wasnt sure if you had the summertime blues i knew it was canadian press! anyways excellent tribute to the king! long live the king -jordan
I've always liked Spinout as well, and his movies were more enjoyable when he had the likes of Shelley Fabbares and Deborah Walley as his leading ladies, and Deborah Walley was very enjoyable in this one.
There will always be on "Elvis". I like to call Elvis Costello - Declan MacManus. Two releases I have from Japan are the 11-LP collection "The Complete Singles Collection" as well as the CD version. The vinyl version contains all the A-sides to the singles, while the CD versions contains both sides of the singles. They were assembled by the former Prime Ministers brother who formed the first Elvis Fan Club in Japan. When the Prime Minister of Japan visited the U.S., George W and him (w/wives in tow) took him to Graceland as well as got burgers & shakes at a diner in Memphis.
Oops! One more thing, I wish Legacy would put out a box set of "The Complete EP Collection". Regretfully I didn't buy the complete album master collection as I have the 30 CD set "The Complete Masters" and that God awful Franklin mint set, of which I wish I never bought. Beginning in March 2007, Sony remastered all Elvis songs, repairing bad edits, clicks & dropouts . I do have the British vinyl collections of the EP Collections, Vol. 1 & 2.

JAILHOUSE ROCK & VIVA LAS VEGAS both should have had soundtrack ALBUMS, & not EPs. Jailhouse Rock has been reissued in LP form; I have it.
