The funny thing is building this yourself would cost a fraction of the cost. However, you are paying for the case, the cool vents (hey i need to set up something like this in my case), and the lights and motorized parts. Still, pretty sweet rig.
This is the best looking PC ever. Only the ROG Tytan CG8890 tries to equal it's design (but it's a beast too and the specs are awesome). The Area 51 ALX would have been my first choice (too bad it's discontinued :( )

@curtiswicked Yes, in fact they do. Some at least. There are achievements on a lot of games on Steam as well as Games For Windows Live (in which you could get achievements for the same gamertag as you use on your xbox360) and there are also many games with a large array of integrated achievements such as World of Warcraft.
I do not deny with anyone that alienware is overpriced, i configured a desktop exactly to the specs i wanted from alienware and i found the difference is only about 300 dollars, and i could say that the 300 dollars is put into the chassis design(which is awesome), but when you are working with computers that are over 2000 dollars, it could be a good idea to go with alienware because everyone knows that brand and you can trust the quality
