No full area slowdown = she was just going easy on you beforehand! That’s insane! First final fight starts here at 4:55 True final fight starts at 8:24 Truest last attack is at 11:22
Mushihimesama Futari is only on the 360, but it's region free. Arrange Mode lets you have both characters on screen at once, and you can switch between them. When bullets get too close to your partner, as long as they still have that large circular barrier around them, the bullets will slow down. You can throw them all away from you at the cost of decreasing your shield.
Ah yes, that third form...that was a form in one of the other Mushihimesama Futari versions, I believe (if you're playing the 360 version surely you know about the Black Label mode...)
@matrixandraia - Makes absolute sense. And your description states about not being too good at the vertical scrolling shmups - I assume that you have therefore played at least one Bullet Hell shmup that's a sidescroller? (heck, Gradius could count because of Gradius V's insane loops)
@FieraDevilWings I downloaded Black Label Mode from XBL, but I'm not nearly good enough at this game to get that far. The highest I could ever get without continuing was stage three. Arrange mode, thankfully, allowed me to enjoy the rest of the game.
Normal, Maniac, and Ultra. No, I'm nowhere near good enough to beat Ultra. I even have a hard time on Normal starting from stage 3. It's a little easier on the iPhone version, but not much.
I have an iPod but not a touch version. I play these Cave games on my iPhone 4g. I have Bug Princess 1 and 2, DoDonPachi Resurrection and Blissful Death, and Espgaluda 2. Would be better on a tablet, but I do well enough on my phone.
@FieraDevilWings I've got DeathSmiles, which is great, and yes, I've owned Gradius V since late 2004. I enjoy Gradius, but V is ridiculously difficult. I've friended a few people on TH-cam that are really good at it and have some great vids. Personally, I'm an R-Typer through and through. Also, yes, from earliest experiences back in the mid 80s, I started on and have always been better/more comfortable with side scrolling shooters.

Yes indeed, it was outrageously difficulty. Had to play Arrange Mode to even get anywhere. >_>
Part 1 and 2 are both on iOS. They're called "Bug Princess." You're welcome. =)

This game looks like it'd be rather boring on arrange mode. It turns the game from cancelling every now and then to cancelling all the time.
Male.
