Cueva De Los Verdes, Lanzarote (4K)

One of the main tourist destinations on the Canary Island Of Lanzarote, Cueva De Los Verdes are an amazing example of volcanic caves. The Green Caves are only accessible by tour, costing around €10 and taking about 45 minutes to complete. The caves were formed by the nearby La Corona volcano, which when erupting, created a 6km lava tube into the ocean.
In the past, the caves were used by locals to hide from pirate invasions on the island as well as for keeping livestock.
