Capri is an outstanding place to visit... I did a few years ago and fell in love with Capri......It is so romantic and lovely.... God bless Italy...... where my Grandmother was born also....!!!!
I make it a mission when on holiday to bring back really unusual souvenirs, things that are unexpectedly kitsch or beautiful and locally made. In Japan I buy honey from small apiaries in their mountainous 'Alps' region near Takayama (imagine how much I'd pay for those imported jars if I bought them in a hipster artisanal food boutique in central London?!) and my best find in Italy was in Capri, check this out: a cook's apron which was vibrantly printed with the Italian flag and standing in front of it, a life sized Benito Mussolini in his military regalia hands on his hips chin up. An apron devoted to a dictator who was one of Hitler's mates! In Capri! Sold without any knowing kitsch irony as a cartoonish lampoon. Nope. All honest fan merchandise for people who like to roast aubergines over a grill and cry into their beer about that great fascist state that could have been. I wonder what kinds of souvenirs other people bring back from holiday? I'd love to watch videos of that, how sad am I? ;D
I really like your videos, thank you for not talking through all of them. Some of them do that and I find it annoying. Thank you for letting us enjoy the scenery . 👍😊
Excellent! I love really well shot, well sound-engineered walking tours. The chaos of jump cuts and incredibly obnoxious 'singing through synthesisers' music most people use is jarring and interferes with me being able to immerse myself in the gorgeously evocative footage. I want to remember being there, y'know? And adding a loud electronic music soundtrack that's reminiscent of a claustrophobic kid's clothing shop in Harajuku Tokyo doesn't really enhance the beauty of Capri. So thanks for filming just the way you do. It's much appreciated and enjoyed. Thumbs up. :D
We are very grateful for such nice words and are pleased that you appreciate the work we have done. Keep following the new videos from Spain that will be available very soon! :)
I have met in real life (and interacted online)with many people who reveal without any embarrassment whatsoever that they have no interest in leaving the town they grew up in and travelling abroad because, and I loosely paraphrase, "I have everything here, it doesn't interest me." People like that remind me how little we understand our fellow humans. Imagine being inside a mind that thinks like that. Imagine it.
Hi, this is looking good! Thanks for taking the time to add all those captions! I look forward to watching this properly with my partner, on our TV. :) Some quick technical questions: How'd you deal with overheating? Even for a relatively cool day in October, 5K@50fps must've been pushing the Hero 10 pretty hard, and this was before those recent firmware updates! Did you use external power to reduce heat? Also, are you using a gimbal? Your movements seem very smooth, and I thought I saw a gimbal on top of your stick in one of the reflections. And what are you using for mics? I'm also curious why (and how) you switched to 50fps instead of using 60fps like in your previous video (Smiltene)... Sorry, too many questions! Anyway, more info about your filming setup would be great!
Hi! I did not have much problem with overheating, just a few times in Capri. When it switched off I replaced the battery it worked again for 30min. I am using gimbal zhiyun crane m2. I use external field recorder Zoom h1n with Roland CS-10EM binaural microphone. For Smiltene I was using GoPro 9 but then I replaced it with GoPro hero 10. You can switch between 50fps and 60fps in 5K resolution on hero 10.
@@pictureperfectholiday Thanks for the info! I also have the Hero 10, Crane M2, Zoom h1n, and Roland CS-10EM. We must shop at the same store (Amazon)! One thing I found is that we can use a battery bank to power the Crane, and then have the Crane send that extra power to the Hero 10 (via the little USB output slot near where the camera connects). The Crane doesn't output enough to keep the Hero 10 fully charged, but it might keep it slightly cooler, reducing overheating. I haven't tested that extensively yet, though. I'm curious why you're choosing 50Hz over 60. And what you're using to edit. Premiere Pro?

The opening image is not Capri but Ischia... quite some journalism 👏 🙄

I ve just found this channel which I like but have to say it’s very rude to enter peoples property just for your content 😮
