    I always like Gary's way of making reviews of lodging places in various design categories, so that it becomes the preferred recommendation for those who want to vacation in Bali....Very good, Gary.

      Sanur has a very relaxed vibe and is a very easy to navigate, has great accommodation options, great collection of street and beach restaurants and offers a calm waters beach. Other popular tourist areas of Bali you will find are a lot more busy and hectic with people and traffic and also most other tourist beaches can be big waves. I personally think Sanur would be a great place for first timers. Please also consider Nusa Penida as this is a wonderful island paridise that has much more to offer than nusa Lembongan. Have a great stay in Bali

    We stayed 29 nights this June but next year we decided on 2 months. Unsure what I have to do re visa but will work it out when it gets closer. All that area we went walking everyday after breakfast. It was so fresh if getting up early at 6am being first for breakfast then going for a long walk. I so miss it as we become lazy when at home, other than work and work around the house. Over there, I seem to gain extra vibe and energy. I put it down to having a great breakfast where at home it’s a snack on the run

      Re visa you can currently get a 30 day tourist visa on arrival @ 500,000idr which can be extended 1 time for another 30 days, if staying in Sanur you can extend at the immigration office in Renon (close to sanur), if staying kuta, legian, seminyak you have to extend at the jimbaran/Nusa Dua immigration, alternatively you can use a visa agent if you don't want to go to immigration yourself.

    We are a couple in our 60’s and 70’s, never been to Bali - is Sanur good for older couples? We fancy puri santria.

    Is there shopping/shops in Sanur similar to Kuta?

    • @balibygary9718
      @balibygary9718  ปีที่แล้ว

      A lot more shopping options and choice in kuta, but sanur has a good collection of shops along Jalan Danau Tamblingan, Jalan Cemara & Jalan Danau toba.

    Hi gary sunbeds should be 50000k for 2 chairs

    • @balibygary9718
      @balibygary9718  ปีที่แล้ว

      I asked the owners at each place so I just put the price what they told me, I asked at 3 places all said 100,000 for 2 chairs, this is also the same price as Kuta and Legian. I never personally use myself.

    • @balibygary9718
