Wow, you actually did it! Thank you so much for the comment you sent me 5 months ago about me losing my 6 rabbits, I appreciate it. Please take this advice, do not get too many more rabbits as I got loads of them and the more you have the higher the risk. THANKS FOR POSTING THIS!! I got so involved in this that i needed to see how it ended :) I'll be bonding my male and female soon and this gives me hope that everything will be fine!!
this was so helpful! i am bonding 7 bunnies right now and it is not easy!! 2+2+2+1 pairing, its been quite the journey as some bonded instantly and some are still not getting along at all.... but i am starting “from scratch” today with somethings ive learnt from this video, i really hope it works :D
Thank you so much for this video! I have 4 I'm trying to bond. I'm not sure I'm up to the 24/7 bonding process, but you may have convinced me to give it a try as soon as I can carve out some time!
I'm struggling with bonding mine, it is terrifying and I get so much anxiety. They used to be very close but we never knew they were two males so they started fighting. We got them neutered and that but I'm trying to get them back together. They still groom at each other but I think they cant figure out who's more dominant. Thanks for this video! I'm glad I'm not the only one who get super nervous 🥰
We have the same problem they used to be so close but we dont know they were males sooo..... And also they were siblings and then they just started fighting (btw their names are Marshie and Kit)
Did you ever get them bonded again? Or have you had to separate? I've always known males and females to get along better than same sex pairs. I did have a mother and daughter pair who were bonded, but I think it was mostly due to the daughter being her baby.
@@tamielynne7374 Sadly, I never did. I figured it wasnt worth either of them getting injured and there was no guarantee that if I bonded them they wouldnt just start fighting again. Although I highly doubt I could have bonded them. Instead I have separated them, but they are right beside each other and can groom and lay against each other still only with wire to keep them both safe. They seem pretty happy with it and I know it isnt the best but it will do! I dont want them hurting or killing each other :)
Thank you so much for your bonding videos! Your video of bonding Velvet, Reuben and Primrose gave us the confidence to bond our Rex pair with our single Rex girl 💜 we are on day three and it’s all going well!
This is amazing that you got all those rabbits together and they continue to stay together. We have 3 females that are sisters and we got them when they were 7 weeks old. At 5 months we had them spayed and that is when all the trouble began. The sweetest rabbit turning into a fighting machine and previously she was the lowest ranked one that was normally picked on. Had to keep all 3 of them separated and it was terrible when trying to reintroduce them. The veterinarian suggested a slow process that they have brief visits and we have tried this method for almost 4 months now. Two of them get along well now but the third one still wants to fight. We have kept them all close together in the same hutch but with a divider to keep them from fighting and now 2 of them stay in the same area together. Seems like many different opinions on how to bond them so we are a bit confused about which is best. The Lady from the rabbit society said we were crazy to get 3 females but at the time it didn't seem like a problem since they were all sisters anyway and they were great together until their surgery. Are we trying to do something that will never work? Do you have any suggestions that could help us to get all 3 of them like they were before? They seem frustrated and unhappy now and we wish that we didn't get them spayed in the first place at this point.🙁
Thank you love this video, some good tips… I will be bonding four rabbits very soon 2 girls 2 boys, who recently was spayed and neutered. All mine are around 6 months old.
this was super helpful! tomorrow i’m going to be bonding 5 bunnies too, they’re all currently separate rabbits but i have had a male and female pair and 2 females together but i ended up having to split both pairs up so i’m hoping they will all be happy together :)
Hi thank you so much for this video as I have 4 rabbits and 3 of them are bonded but two of 3 isn’t a big fan of the 4th rabbit and this video has helped me try bond all of them together- your the first video I have seen where it’s realistic and shows the rabbits fighting and what to do when it happens. Thank you!! I’m currently bonding my 4 rabbits and it’s going ok so far ❤
I'm so happy they all bonded so well for you yaay! I know I can't wait to say mine are all successfully bonded as well. All my bunnies are spayed and neutered and hornmones are gone now as well i meant to say in my last comment 😍🥰❤️🐇🙏
Great video but one suggestion (not to do with bonding) you should really switch to water bowls. Water bottles break quickly and can actually lead to dehydration in rabbits. Usually rabbits aren’t capable of getting a good amount of water out of bottles which obviously as I said leads to dehydration. Just a recommendation for you!
Hey thanks for the suggestion! I currently have more than one water bottle for them in case of them breaking etc but you’re right bowls are better so I will probably put bowls in as well. Thank you x
@@mypamperedpets You’re welcome! Glad I could help. Usually people don’t have an open mindset and don’t take suggestions in but you did so thank you for doing that.
@@hazza1297 I've noticed the buns are drinking a lot more now they have a bowl as well as bottles. They definitely seem to prefer it so thanks so much again :)

@@mypamperedpets Primrose is an absolute darling. Just been watching some of your previous videos. I forgot about how ruby and scarlet came about! Such a happy ending especially now! Look forward to the next bunny video
Why have rabbits if you are going to lock them in a shed outside? I have 2 free roaming in part of my house and a bonded pair of fosters in another part. I've fallen in love with the fosters though and I'm hoping to bond them all so we will have 4 free roaming together inside with us.
Because they aren't happy in the house. They love having their own shed and aviary, it's much more natural. They have a digging box and are really happy.
Hi. This video is so so helpful. Trying to bond our (my son's) 2 x 2 bunnies (2 girls / 1 boy and girl - all neutered). One of the girls (in the boy./ girl relationship) seems to be the only issue.
Wow it's not easy to bond rabbits. Good job. I have a single bunny he was born a single kit and I pretty much have to be his bunny ! He's special needs and bonded also with our cat!
I love watching your video, we successfully bonded a few females, But I have just put up a video about one of my rabbits attacking the other and the damage two females can do to one another. A lot of patience and persistence but also knowing when two are not meant to be.
This makes me wonder as well, if dutch rabbits are the problem! I have a girl dutchie myself and she's SO dominant! I'm getting her a partner in the coming weeks so hopefully she likes him. This gives me hope for her dominant behavior!!
Fantastic! Very helpful video!! About to bond two bonded pairs. 🤞🤞🤞 I have an old male named Hashbrown. Upon the first meeting he's been the Primrose of the group.
Hahaha when primrose was trying to bite on ruby and just retracted like “ok ok, robin told me to do it!!” And robin chilling over there looking all guilty 😆
I been trying to bond my bunnies. I'm going to just do two groups one of 4 and the other of 3 because my two males jr and stormy didnt get along well when i tried before and im to scared to try again atleast not for awhile. But so far its going really well. I cant do 24/7 bonding because of work so im just doing a little each day. Aww your twins look just like my Evie 🥰❤️
Thank you very informative.I’m trying to get my bunnies together. They were great together a month ago. Had received my friends bunny after. Then they started fighting
I am thinking about bonding two pairs but one of my bunnies, Laku is a very dominant and temperamentic boy so I will try to adopt two bonded girls that are more agreeable and calm with my pair Laku and Vilma that I have now. This was really interesting to watch not many bunny owners out there that are bonding 5 rabbits! But I was thinking the other day that isn't it even more natural for rabbits to be in a group than in pairs because in nature they are always in groups
Thank you! They have both a dish and bottle in their accomodation. I used a bottle for bonding because they would have constantly knocked the dish over when fighting. ☺️
I know this is an old video but it’s one of the best I’ve seen on bonding rabbits and I’m working on getting a second rabbit to bond with my doe and was wondering, do you need to keep them together the whole bonding process or is there a way you can bond them for a few hours a day and then keep them separate the rest of the time while you do things like eating & sleeping? Also any other bonding tips would be deeply appreciated!!! A few questions I’ve thought of while I watch: -When you slept in your own bed did you have someone else watching them or were they unsupervised? -since my rabbit is currently on her own and when I get another they won’t be used to my scent, would it be smarter to let someone else more neutral and experienced to do the bonding or would I still be able to do it? -how do you know when the bonding is solidified?
Hi! It can be both 😊 Rabbits can be confusing but this is the research I've read: 'A top bunny will request grooming from a subordinate by laying her head flat on the ground close to the other rabbit, often pushing her head under his chin. She may return the favour at times as an act of affection but generally speaking the top bunny gets much more grooming from her subordinate(s). Confusingly, rabbits also lay their heads on the ground to show submission and you may often see subordinate rabbits doing this but the usual response from top bunny is either to ignore or give a quick ear or eye lick.' Primrose is definitely top bun now haha and when she puts her head down it is definitely because she is boss 😂 However in the bonding situation I could see she was nervous and was putting her head down to show no threat. Thanks for the info though!
I’m bonding a trio now and after a few successful dates fights started to happen between two, so I’m in a nerve wreck now and looking for tips on how to get through this stage
I just watched your video because I had a colony of 5 bonded Holland Lops. Mom, dad, and 3 sisters. Only dad is fixed. But one of the bonded sisters bit the other, resulting in 12 stitches. We kept her in a cage, always in the same room with her colony until she healed and got her stitches out. But now I need to know how to bond her back in the colony? The vet said if I just throw her back in, and it happened again, it could be fatal. She told me to get rid of the one that bit. 😪 But she is still bonded with the other 3. Now It seems like the 4 won't accept the one who was bit. I know I need to get the females fixed and they have hit sexual maturity, which may be what broke the bond? They had all been bonded, laying together, kissing each others head for 7 months. Now what? Should I try this method?
I love your channel so much, and your bunnies are such beautiful creatures! I know that you are busy with work and other things, but please do upload here and there. I love watching your videos so much! You are such an adequate mom for these bun buns , please give my love to Prim rose, Bertie, Scarlet, Robin and Ruby :) God bless you and your beautiful babies xx
Wow you are so brave and such dedication! I have to bond my 2 bonded bunnies with new Flemish Giant who will be neutered soon. I'll wait a month after surgery though...
I'm about to bond a 6 week old baby to my 2 yr old flemish. They're both girls but my 2 yr old has been spayed for a yr or more so hopefully baby will be a good friend for her. They're both so sweet. Wish me luck!
I absolutely love your bonding videos! I’m currently trying to bond my pair. It’s the first time I’ve tried bonding adult rabbits. I’m day five and they are doing well still some biting every now and then. I’m worried about one of them as he is used to free roaming and he seems quite sad in the small space. Any tips for letting him have a run without effecting the bond? Or making him happier in the space? Thank you!:))
Thank you so much! Aw bless him, it’s so hard keeping them confined. Unfortunately letting him out could affect the bonding process :( Could you possibly make their space a little bit bigger? That way he can have more room but still be with the other rabbit! X
Amazing video! I watched your videos on bonding 3 bunnies and I have three to bond myself. I was just wondering which you found better... bonding like you did with the 3, a bit more space.. or if it was better/easier to have them in a smaller space, like with your 5? Thank you so much for your very helpful and inspiring videos!❤❤ I feel like I have the confidence to bond my buns now! ☺ thanks again!
Thank you! 😁 Both bonds worked out for me so I wouldn’t say one was better than the other. I just did what was best for each situation. With the 5 I already knew the boys hated one another so needed to get them in the smallest space possible. I think it just depends on the rabbits. Probably best to start with something small though and just keep extending as and when needed :) Good luck with bonding!
@@mypamperedpets Thank you for your advice! I think the smaller space will work out better as I have one bun that's a bit... sparky!😂 I'm so happy to see what the process looks like now! Thanks again!❤☺
Did you do this by yourself? I am starting to bond two m/f pairs and while I want to do the 24/7 style, I don't know how to make it work around my job. Did you do any pre-bonding before putting them all in the small cage in the bathroom? (btw Primrose is soooooooooo cute, especially when she's sprawled out in the cuddle puddle!)
This video is making me wanna try adding a third to my pair... already been considering it XD But I'm worried what would happen if they don't bond as I don't have space for another enclosure... (There's barely space for the one I have currently. Its taking up just as much space as it can without blocking off the door to my apartment.)
Ah thats the risk with getting another! What you could do though is go to a reputable rescue and ask to adopt on the premise that the new rabbit bonds with your pair. If it doesn’t work out they will go back to the rescue but make sure it’s a good rescue that is happy for you to attempt this.
I’ve recently rescued two rabbits, initially believed to be females that then started fighting, despite growing up for the last 5 months together they started fighting, so I booked them into the vet to get spayed which later determined they were both males, I’ve had them separate for the last week prior surgery but have been sharing a room separated by a cage so they can get used to each other again. Today I put them together for the first time as they were laid flopping next to each other separated by the cage but then instantly started chasing and biting each other. I’m completely new to the bonding and rabbit ownership so any advice would be greatly appreciated
@@mypamperedpets brilliant Thankyou, like I say I’m completely new to this I just couldnt say no to the rescue 😂 I was initially told they were siblings but as they’ve grown they look nothing alike too but still flop next to each other at the cage but start the fight when the cage is not there :)
Hi, we're any of your rabbits originally bonded before doing all 5 together? I have 2 pairs of bunnies that I would love to bond as one group, do you have any advice on how to do it?
I’ve been wanting to start the bonding process with my 2 already bonded pair, and my new girl that’s isn’t so new anymore lol both females are spayed but are both super dominant whereas my little boy is super docile and couldnt be bothered by anyone. But it’s something that has to be done eventually I’m just scared to do it lol
I know you posted this a while ago but how did it go? I have 2 sisters from different litters and they hate each other. The older sister is bonded to my male and the male is the dominant. They live in areas beside each other so they know the others are there but everytime I let them close the older sister chases her sister and she lived free roam in my room for 6 months until she started being naughty and I moved her back to an XPEN beside the others. They are all between 1.5 and 3 years and they are all desexed
It's ok, I have been a subscriber for 3 years and you have helped so much! Keep posting as it helps me put my past of other rabbits behind me but remember them. They were called, *Buddy* (he is the only one alive) Peter Flo Gloria Darcey Clover And Bubba R. I. P 💔💕
Thanks, at least you care. At school i was teased and called the bunny murderer and people even said I poisoned them. It tore my heart to shreds as I had never heard of vhd until after mine died. We were so confused but after it came up on Facebook, it all made sense💕💔🐇🐰

@@mypamperedpets I guess it depends. I currently have 1 bunny he’s a mini rex. I’m bringing home a second bunny on Saturday he’s half continental giant. There about 6-7 weeks apart in age. I hope they get on well. My continental giant is already bigger than my mini rex xx
Thank you so much for posting this, it gives me hope! So I had a trio of bonded rabbits, two males who were bonded (Bun and Marshmallow) and then a female (Coco) who I added later. They lived together for months, then one day just like with yours they fought and Bun broke the bond with the other two. Unfortunately, I lost my sweet Bun a few months ago in a freak accident. So I had three for awhile, Coco and Marshmallow, and then my other rabbit Milk who was never introduced to the others because of a neutering issue (vet swore he didn’t have balls yet he was clearly still being hormonal, turns out he had one testicle still which was promptly removed). Recently, I found my self with a second female, BunBao, who was a originally my sisters. She was spayed about a month ago. So I’d like to bond all four of them together but I’m wondering if it would be easier to bond Milk and Bunbao first, and then bond those two with the already bonded Coco and Marshmallow? Or do you thinks it’s best to try all four together at once? Any tips or opinions are appreciated!
See by 3.04 I already have a problem!....mine literally would go straight for each other and I don't have 3 more bunnies to take up the extra space to make it harder to fight in!😂
I'm on day 5 of bonding my 2 boys with my new little lady. She has no desire to interact with them! Boy 1 licks her which she will tolerate for a short while before she moves away. Boy 2 has struggled to accept her and at first (I did 6 weeks of playdates before the 24/7 method) he would lunge and bite her. Now he wants to sit with her but she runs off. On day 2 girl bun licked boy 2 (she has never licked any of them until this point), so it seemed progress was made however she won't stay near either boy for long. She just doesnt seem to want to interact although they are all now tolerating eachother. Do I just wait until they start connecting?
Well done. I am trying to bond my three rabbits. Why do you put them outside and not keep them as free roaming in the house. The shed looks really comfy but I keep mine inside so that I have as much time together as possible.
I don't have a suitable area for them inside, they have a lot more freedom outside in their own set up. I have a cat and a dog so wouldn't be safe to have them indoors. x
Lol Primrose actually over here asserting herself as the dominate female and demanding grooming, Ruby getting pissed cause she doesn't want to do it *stomp*. Robin out here being the family dooche and demanding attention from all because he wants to be leader of the pack, Bertie is as the only other male refusing to submit. Robin submits haha! Bertie is king.
My bun momma died leaving two litters behind all went to a nice and bunny known home but I kept two of her babies while she was still alive she picked on one female which I have until they become one her daughter got a litter too all babies to good homes. Now he is neutered and she about being spayed next month and so bought two new gurls since they always were four but knowing this pet store owner having snakes private you know what would happen so the male seems okay but she not. Shed nipped them for now and had to build a huge huge x pen for the 10weeks old to been safe...i hope her spaying gotta help a bit
So im trying to bond my male and female together but my female seems to me the aggressive and goes after him first but he will fight back what should i do when a serious fight happens and they just started the bonding session??
Thank you for your video. I have three rabbits (2 does and a buck). The buck was neutered and separated a week and half ago. The girls get spayed in four weeks. Should I bond him with them only after they get healed from being spayed and keep him separate but close? I am new to the bonding process.
Thank you so much for this video! I have two female rabbits who were really closed before getting spayed one week ago but now one of the two is hair pulling the other. How long after spaying do you think I should wait before trying the bonding again? I have found conflicting opinions online. Also the vet here in Thailand told me to wait just 3 or 4 days but I read that it takes at least 2 weeks for the hormones to go down. What do you think? Thanks
@@mypamperedpets I have separated them yes, and they are both neutered and they both have female partners, but they attack each other really severely whenever I try to introduce them
@@mypamperedpets So far the smallest space I’ve introduced them in is a metre wide neutral cage, and they were fine for a second, but then the littlest one started a fight that could have gotten pretty bad. I think it would be better to introduce them in one like the one in the video, with the female rabbits in there as well, but I’m worried that they will immediately attack each other again, as once they latch on to each other they are super hard to separate
I currently have a 1.5 year old spayed female who is sassy as anything and am going to adopt a 8-9month male from my friend who sadly can’t look after him anymore who hasn’t been neutered but is already used to being with spayed females and is calm. Do you think I should get him neutered before trying to bond the two or do you think he would be okay??

Aw good luck! I’m sure they’ll sort it out between them eventually ❤️
We have the same problem they used to be so close but we dont know they were males sooo..... And also they were siblings and then they just started fighting
(btw their names are Marshie and Kit)
Did you ever get them bonded again? Or have you had to separate? I've always known males and females to get along better than same sex pairs. I did have a mother and daughter pair who were bonded, but I think it was mostly due to the daughter being her baby.
Maybe try again but not in spring time as rabbits are naturally more hormonal in the spring, so this makes it harder to bond.
Aww so glad it’s going well! 💖
Good luck ❤️
Hi thank you so much for this video as I have 4 rabbits and 3 of them are bonded but two of 3 isn’t a big fan of the 4th rabbit and this video has helped me try bond all of them together- your the first video I have seen where it’s realistic and shows the rabbits fighting and what to do when it happens. Thank you!! I’m currently bonding my 4 rabbits and it’s going ok so far ❤
I am happy I saw the veido to the end. I would of given up by the 2nd day. I very happy the rabbit bond it. You are a great MOM.
I'm so happy they all bonded so well for you yaay! I know I can't wait to say mine are all successfully bonded as well. All my bunnies are spayed and neutered and hornmones are gone now as well i meant to say in my last comment 😍🥰❤️🐇🙏
Bonding my bunnies as I'm watching this
Hope it's going well! 🥰
@@mypamperedpets Finally bonded!!!
Yay well done!!
Same, it’s going well but she keeps nipping him. I don’t think it’s hard because he doesn’t move but he gets agitated
No problem! Always an open mindset when it comes to my pets and improving their life ❤️
@@hazza1297 I've noticed the buns are drinking a lot more now they have a bowl as well as bottles. They definitely seem to prefer it so thanks so much again :)
@@mypamperedpets oh that’s awesome!! I’m glad I could make a suggestion. You’re such a great bunny owner. Love it how you take suggestions to enhance your bunnies health, usually people are superrr defensive when it comes to suggestions. I love your content keep up the great work.
Thanks so much for making this video. Rollercoaster ride of emotions haha
You’re welcome! 😁 Haha yep one min they’re getting along, the next they’re not! Took some time haha!
@@mypamperedpets Primrose is an absolute darling. Just been watching some of your previous videos. I forgot about how ruby and scarlet came about! Such a happy ending especially now! Look forward to the next bunny video
She is such a good girl 🥰 She’s been so accepting, bless her! Yes it’s so lovely to have them all living happily together ❤️
Lovely to see a new video! missed this!
This was very helpful, thank you taking the time to share your process and your beautiful babies 💕
I love the dramatic background music lol, fitting as the boys were so overdramatic .
Hi. This video is so so helpful. Trying to bond our (my son's) 2 x 2 bunnies (2 girls / 1 boy and girl - all neutered). One of the girls (in the boy./ girl relationship) seems to be the only issue.
Lol, my new zealand is double the size of these cute bunnies
Wow it's not easy to bond rabbits. Good job. I have a single bunny he was born a single kit and I pretty much have to be his bunny ! He's special needs and bonded also with our cat!
I feel so bad for the lionhead...... it's so sweet & keeps getting attacked..... it's the odd man out
I love watching your video, we successfully bonded a few females, But I have just put up a video about one of my rabbits attacking the other and the damage two females can do to one another. A lot of patience and persistence but also knowing when two are not meant to be.
I always wondered what happens if they start to fight in the small space
This makes me wonder as well, if dutch rabbits are the problem! I have a girl dutchie myself and she's SO dominant! I'm getting her a partner in the coming weeks so hopefully she likes him. This gives me hope for her dominant behavior!!
I also have a dutch rabbit he's also very dominant so i think its something for dutch rabbits, i'm bonding him tommorow !
Same. My Dutch guy is the most aggressive of my 4. He was the hardest to bond.
Fantastic! Very helpful video!! About to bond two bonded pairs. 🤞🤞🤞 I have an old male named Hashbrown. Upon the first meeting he's been the Primrose of the group.
Tip: when a bunny puts their head down, it can be a sign of dominance, because the bunny is asking to be groomed!
Correct! It can be both 😅
That was a great video
Hahaha when primrose was trying to bite on ruby and just retracted like “ok ok, robin told me to do it!!” And robin chilling over there looking all guilty 😆
Bertie is sooo cute !
Please put cw for cuteness overload, I nearly fainted from how adorable they are
I been trying to bond my bunnies.
Robin is so aggressive! He went for you and he’s like wait that’s my human pet me!
the dutch rabbit is a real gladiator , like rodney king said , WHT CANT WE JUS GET ALONG , nice job, thanks for the post
It's sooo cuteeeee. My only concern is that it would be better for them to have drinking bowl when they have extended space not bottle.
Agree! Bunnies were rattling that bottle desperate for a good drink!
Thank you, they do actually have a bowl instead now 😊
Thank you very informative.I’m trying to get my bunnies together. They were great together a month ago. Had received my friends bunny after. Then they started fighting

Yay! Glad I could help ☺️
@@mypamperedpets deffo need more vids!!!!
I love every thing in this video I am about to bond mine very soon but I do recomend useing a water dish instead if a water bottle
Thank you! They have both a dish and bottle in their accomodation. I used a bottle for bonding because they would have constantly knocked the dish over when fighting. ☺️
Thanks for this video! we already have 2 bonded rabbits.
A few questions I’ve thought of while I watch:
-When you slept in your own bed did you have someone else watching them or were they unsupervised?
-since my rabbit is currently on her own and when I get another they won’t be used to my scent, would it be smarter to let someone else more neutral and experienced to do the bonding or would I still be able to do it?
-how do you know when the bonding is solidified?
Great video and i love your adorable bunnies !
Thank you so much!
When they put their head down it’s not a submissive thing it’s actually the opposite. It is an attempt to get the other rabbit to groom them.
Hi! It can be both 😊 Rabbits can be confusing but this is the research I've read:
'A top bunny will request grooming from a subordinate by laying her head flat on the ground close to the other rabbit, often pushing her head under his chin. She may return the favour at times as an act of affection but generally speaking the top bunny gets much more grooming from her subordinate(s).
Confusingly, rabbits also lay their heads on the ground to show submission and you may often see subordinate rabbits doing this but the usual response from top bunny is either to ignore or give a quick ear or eye lick.'
Primrose is definitely top bun now haha and when she puts her head down it is definitely because she is boss 😂 However in the bonding situation I could see she was nervous and was putting her head down to show no threat. Thanks for the info though!
I’m bonding a trio now and after a few successful dates fights started to happen between two, so I’m in a nerve wreck now and looking for tips on how to get through this stage
love this, so glad they’re bonded, but it made me so mad when they had big fights and you were just standing there recording 😅
Big fights were seperated. You have to let them work it out or they will not bond.
Thank you for posting your video’s. I felt very nervous for you
Aww

Nice video! I just wonder if there is some way to bond unspayed (doe) rabbits?
Did you do this by yourself? I am starting to bond two m/f pairs and while I want to do the 24/7 style, I don't know how to make it work around my job. Did you do any pre-bonding before putting them all in the small cage in the bathroom? (btw Primrose is soooooooooo cute, especially when she's sprawled out in the cuddle puddle!)
I did yes, I booked a week off work.
So i am trying to bond 4 bunnies. I already have a male-female pair and want to bond them with two little brothers. Any tips?
I’ve recently rescued two rabbits, initially believed to be females that then started fighting, despite growing up for the last 5 months together they started fighting, so I booked them into the vet to get spayed which later determined they were both males, I’ve had them separate for the last week prior surgery but have been sharing a room separated by a cage so they can get used to each other again. Today I put them together for the first time as they were laid flopping next to each other separated by the cage but then instantly started chasing and biting each other. I’m completely new to the bonding and rabbit ownership so any advice would be greatly appreciated
Hi as its only been a week since their neuter they will still have lots of hormones. Its best to wait 6 weeks before bonding :)
@@mypamperedpets brilliant Thankyou, like I say I’m completely new to this I just couldnt say no to the rescue 😂 I was initially told they were siblings but as they’ve grown they look nothing alike too but still flop next to each other at the cage but start the fight when the cage is not there :)
im getting ready to bond 5 rabbits and im soo nervous i have this one lion head and hes so agressive. but this video gives me hope
Hi, we're any of your rabbits originally bonded before doing all 5 together? I have 2 pairs of bunnies that I would love to bond as one group, do you have any advice on how to do it?
thank you so much for this video
I’ve been wanting to start the bonding process with my 2 already bonded pair, and my new girl that’s isn’t so new anymore lol both females are spayed but are both super dominant whereas my little boy is super docile and couldnt be bothered by anyone. But it’s something that has to be done eventually I’m just scared to do it lol
Aw good luck! You got this 💪🏼
I know you posted this a while ago but how did it go? I have 2 sisters from different litters and they hate each other. The older sister is bonded to my male and the male is the dominant. They live in areas beside each other so they know the others are there but everytime I let them close the older sister chases her sister and she lived free roam in my room for 6 months until she started being naughty and I moved her back to an XPEN beside the others. They are all between 1.5 and 3 years and they are all desexed

@@mypamperedpets thank you
Thank you so much for posting this, it gives me hope!
Hi, I'm so sorry for your loss. I think it makes more sense to bond all 4 at once as dynamics can chance a lot during bonding.
@@mypamperedpets Thank you so much! I’m going to book a week off and try your method then. Fingers crossed that all goes well🤞
See by 3.04 I already have a problem!....mine literally would go straight for each other and I don't have 3 more bunnies to take up the extra space to make it harder to fight in!😂
I'm on day 5 of bonding my 2 boys with my new little lady.
Hi ! This Video is great! Did you do any pre bonding prior to this??
Thank you! Nope. They could see each other due to their set ups but this was the first time all together for bonding ☺️
Well done. I am trying to bond my three rabbits. Why do you put them outside and not keep them as free roaming in the house. The shed looks really comfy but I keep mine inside so that I have as much time together as possible.
I don't have a suitable area for them inside, they have a lot more freedom outside in their own set up. I have a cat and a dog so wouldn't be safe to have them indoors. x
Isn’t the rabbit putting its head down a sign of dominance, not submissiveness?
It’s hard to bond but it can happen over time.
WHY AM I TEARING UP WHEN BERTIE AND ROBIN GROOM EACH OTHER HELP
The bonding session is like a sitcom so much drama specious and then peace
I have M/F bonded pair, and want to add another female, do you have a video on that?
Primrose is adorable!!
Thank you for your video. I have three rabbits (2 does and a buck). The buck was neutered and separated a week and half ago. The girls get spayed in four weeks. Should I bond him with them only after they get healed from being spayed and keep him separate but close? I am new to the bonding process.
Yeah that's exactly what I'd do ☺️
I'm only 8 mins in but omg Robin is so mean xD I have a few bunnies i'm going to bond soon and i'm so nervous lol
Thanks
Definitely wait a few weeks x
4:27 primrose is being dominant not submissive, she’s asking them to groom her as a sign so respect
What do we do if they latch on to each other and don’t let go? They’re being super violent
Then they need separating unfortunately. Are they both neutered/spayed?
@@mypamperedpets I have separated them yes, and they are both neutered and they both have female partners, but they attack each other really severely whenever I try to introduce them
Sorry to hear Are you introducing them in a very small neutral space?
