Thanks, man! I really appreciate it. According to the new TH-camr's insider people, intros are a thing of the past. The recommendation is to get right to the tutorial in order to retain audiences. Apparently, attention spans are so short that within 3 seconds, people tune out. So, they recommend dropping intros.
@@7MinuteAETutorials Well watching other TH-camrs I noticed that they present what the video is about in the very first 5-10 seconds and then they put their intro.
@@apostolosbartis there are definitely different styles. I always try to show what you'll learn at the opening and then hop right into the tutorial. My intro is only a few seconds. If you miss it, maybe lll put it back in :)
I'm addicted to AE, because I'm not happy unless I'm learning something. What I learned: Add control, pick whip prop. to control and change value. AE separates position into x and y dimensions. Do I pickwhip both to the point control? Thank-you.
Thank you Jeff.. Helpful like always.. If i may ask, i noticed your tutorials are in mkv format, do you export them in mov format then convert them to mkv? I always loved how clean and bright they are...
i export mp4 actually. Do they look good on your end? Or are you saying they used to look better? I screen record in 4K at least so I can zoom in, also.
@@7MinuteAETutorials They look awesome now and before, no worries man. The thing is, some editors in other channels are keeping telling people to drop the mp4 and go with proress 422 HQ, to not lose quality (despite the big file size). Then i tested your tutorials (download) and TH-cam presented them to me in mkv format! So i thought maybe because you were behind that...
@@fouezdesign I usually export mp4 mainly because 422 files are enormous and the qualify of mp4 looks pretty solid from what I can tell. Thanks for the info. This is helpful.
Make sure you have some speed on your keyframes in the graph editor the way I show in the tutorial. If there's no speed, you won't see animation since they cancel each other out. Putting an Ease In or Out should give you the effect you need. Let me know if that helps. Go to about 1:30 - this is where it starts.
it was amazing! thanks for the video
Jeff-thank you as always for sharing your knowledge.
Amazing! Just what I needed :)
Looks cool to mask top half of circle burst half. Half-circle burst.
Very nice video, thank you for sharing!
Спасибо за очередной великолепный урок!
The power of presets is a time saver! Great content as always Jeff!
P.S. Where is the intro you used to have in every video? 😉

@@7MinuteAETutorials you're welcome Jeff and thanks a lot for your time. You're the best.
For some reason, this is not working for me. Having both the start and end of the trim path gives me no animation at all. Cannot see a line.
