What a feeling dude. My son is 2, can not wait for this video to become a reality. Feel like I know you and Bo personally. Enjoy your content more then you no. I’ve gotten about 4-5 trips this year with one fish, so much rain for our rivers this season. This weekend I think I’m gonna sneak away to a small coastal stream just like this one. Congrats Father and SON.
1st time veiwer of your channel...Awesome catch!! Do you have a video of how to rig that spin glo setup? I have a bunch of those my dad gave me and we don't know how to use or rig it.
I would encourage you guys to take better care of the wild fish. Wild fish have no business being drug up onto the bank. Carry a rubber coated net. These steelhead need all the help they can get to survive. Protect the resource. Cheers
It is something i definitely need to work on. Especially if I'm going to continue doing videos. I usually try to tail them but this one ran away from me and up the bank
Tell me what river you think this is? I am also tribal so i have different regs from state. I don't know the state rules too well, but as far as i know, bait is open even for state. My guess is you dont know what river i am on
@@fathersonoutdoors8049 I’m not going to say it’s name on TH-cam because I don’t want to blow the river up, but it’s in Washington state, on the Olympic peninsula, and if you read the coastal steelhead regulations that have been implemented for years now, selective gear rules (IE no bait and single barbless hooks) is mandated on all open rivers.
@jesserosenthal8831 ok. Well what tribe has rights to this river? I just double checked with my tribal officer and it is definitely open for bait. Only has triple hook restrictions 👍
@jesserosenthal8831 no worries. I have to explain this to a lot of people. Its something i don't want to explain in every video lol. I appreciate you watching

Bring back memories with my 2 boys learning how to fish.

Nothing like watching him become a great little fisherman. He's a little fish killer

What lb tests braid are you using?
40# beyond braid. It's the best braided line I've used.
@@fathersonoutdoors8049 thanks! 👍🏾
Bait is illegal on this river. This is unacceptable for a myriad of reasons. Please take this down

@@fathersonoutdoors8049 yup I can’t speak to tribal regulations, so my apologies for assuming you weren’t tribal.
