I just bought a 2023 hornet gt plus With 6200 miles, it’s an amazing car imo I love it! It does me well for the distance I travel daily, it’s got more features than I’ve ever had in a car in my life, beautiful red leather seats, etc. overall verryyyyyy happy with it, only thing I didn’t like about it was the rims but I’m going to switch them out to bigger black ones next year!
I actually own the 2023 Dodge Hornet GT plus with the blacktop and performance package and it's not nearly as bad as most people think. It does feel kinda cheap in the center console area and gas efficiency isn't great, but it drives great and I must be a lucky one to not feel the lurching when deccelerating. Overall I actually really like the car and I am happy with my purchase 😊
My local Dodge dealer has sold exactly ONE (1) Hornet…and my Alfa dealership in Appleton told me candidly that the Italians hate it, too… So much that all Tonale/ Hornet production is headed strictly to North America now…OMG..?!? (Personally, I find it too small for American families; the Stelvio or the Maserati Grecale will meet your needs better..) I loved my Stelvio on lease- ZERO issues…but I’m taking a HARD PASS on the Tonale/Hornet twins…
Wow. More research would be good. Paddle shifters over and over. You reviewed the GT, not the RT. All Tonale Trims are not on the level of the GT, their compare to RT. RT had paddle shifters. And you kept repeating “this is supposed to be the sportiest option.” It’s not, that’s the RT. You basically have a base model with an Appearance Package and a Luxury Package. And stop shaking a “moveable” part and saying it moves. It’s the center console, a door, it has a gap on purpose. But it doesn’t rattle when you drive. And if you’re curious, I don’t own the car and I don’t sell the car. I’m retired and I don’t own a Dodge.
This thing will sting your wallet and your self-esteem! You wont be able to beat a kia sorento at the light, but your car is shaped like it wants to be faster so you identify as faster with it.
Special thanks to our Patreons for their support of the channel! Dodge Hornet or Mazda CX30?

Looks great also
Only 4 bad things? Way to go out of your way to stay positive. Great job overall on the review.
lol objective and fact-based as possible is the aim
Dude we got the memo about the paddle shifters. You only mentioned in four times.

is that sales number from the Dodge dealer accurate?! if so that's very concerning for them...
You are not in the shorties offering, you are pretty much in the base model so stop comparing what you have with the R/T model
It's a very nice looking car. Maybe its only redeeming quality?

I don’t think I would’ve bothered.
U just know that a Dodge Hornet is gonna
be a POS. Looks decent tho.
One of the most unappealing cars Dodge has to offer.
Needs a hellcat engine
The interior is the same as the Alfa. Fit & finish are the same.
yep absolutely
