Extraordinary Concerto from one of most interesting Viola player and composer from history...To me, one of the biggest. I prefer to work with my students this kind of repertoire. Not only exists Hoffmeister and Stamiz!...Oh yeah, just I were the viewer number 4000. Thanks for share Mr.Tagauri, a very funy version, really a pleasure to listen and to see. Nice job in your Cadenze. I've liked, shared and subscribed. ¡Hasta pronto!
Mr Taguari.....your bio is underrepresented on Web.....Thanks for the great contributions on youtube. Please provide some bio details. I look forward to listening to the rest of your Utube items. Thanks and regards Douglas Gunderson Violist, pianist, organist, guitar etc
Very good playing. But without any disrespect intended to the performers, the work itself is even more of a revelation. I find that Rolla wrote at least 15 viola concertos. How many of them are played today (outside of TH-cam)? In his time he was an extraordinarily important musician (Paganini's teacher, leader of La Scala opera, prolific composer, developer of playing technique). Time for a re-evaluation of his work, perhaps?
I think it is way too fast, you loose all the operatic sense of the first part. Nevertheless, great effort to make Rolla's music widely know. Thanks Maestro Tagauri.

Splendida interpretazione del CAPOLAVORO del Compositore italiano Rolla! BRAVI!
I don't think all Rolla's Viola Music were Concerti , but agree with the rest. His Music for Viola is very fine indeed
Bravo, um primor.!!!!
