have you never heard of hurrying up, that's exactly what Winston was doing, he was trying to throw the defense off guard, ref shouln't have been in the way
In terms of just a horrible call, it has to be the AU vs. Vandy game where the Vandy QB threw a "TD pass" that bounced off the WR's pads and landed 20 feet away, and they called it a TD.
Literally every single one of your college football clips the last few videos has an ACC team in it bro 😂 just say “worst calls in ACC football history”
Oklahoma State vs Central Michigan (2016). The officials illegally gave Central Michigan one untimed down after their qb was penalized for intentional grounding. Central Michigan scored on the untimed down and won the game.
@@timothylinkous6146 oh actually i'm sorry i know why the knee down wasn't called when he hit the grown the ball was already moving so the ref saw it as a fumble and continued live ball
I still have not gotten over when Miami got screwed out of a national championship against Ohio State on the horrible pass interference call. The flag was thrown 8 seconds after the play was over and Miami had already started celebrating. Another team that always gets favorable calls at the end of games is Notre Dame. N. Illinois got a first down to be able to run the clock down without giving the ball back to the Irish. The Huskie running backs waist was where the first down marker was located and the refs still gave ND a favorable spot to force 4th down. The Refs also stopped the clock, when it should have started running again after the measurement. This allowed ND to save its last time out for their last drive. Fortunately, even with the refs help ND still lost the game. The Colorado 5 down game will always bd a classic ending!
Not only was the PI call on Miami horrible, the ball was tipped by the lineman so is shouldn’t have mattered. I’ve noticed it happens all the time to successful programs. The 2016 Championship. Watsons last pass was successful because of the pick they ran. That gets called all the freaking time.
Lol that was 1000% a hold on Miami in that Natty. If you want a real bad call from that game, try the "incompletion" near the end of regulation. It never should have went to OT.
The no calls in the Duke vs Miami final play were the worst arguably ever. And to review it and still say no knee down. Every one of those refs should be fired and never allowed to ref again
My pop would always say, “the refs don’t get paid all that much, it’s not crazy to believe they could be bought off.” I also think that leagues urge referees to favor higher profile teams.
I didn't not care who won the game in 2002 and it was a good one but Miami vs Ohio St because of the stakes involved was the worse call in the biggest game of all time.
does this channel only have access to ACC clips? Feel like that's been a recent problem with every video posted, as well as reused clips. I wouldn't be surprised to find out these videos are being spliced by a program.
lol really going to put the 2003 national championship game in here. Miami player held the Ohio State player before entering the end zone. The flag was right. The call was wrong.
For the UNC Clemson one. I vaguely remember something that it was actually an illegal formation and the officials said the wrong thing. Idk the rules for kickoff formations. So does anyone else remember something like that or am I just misremembering that?
1:12 the game should have never gotten to that point because earlier on a 3rd down Krenzel hit Gamble for a first down in regulation. They called it incomplete so OSU had to punt it. That allowed Miami to force OT
Some of these weren’t even bad calls let alone “worst calls of all time”. I hate Ohio State but that play at about 10:20 was a catch and fumble. He had control of the ball and took two steps. Also, the referee is a part of the field and each one has to be in a certain area. When they get run into that isn’t their fault. Either do better or name the video better
worse than the offsides on a punt call against UGA vs Bama?? UGA blocks the punt and recovers inside the 5. They were already up 10-0, maybe 13-0 at that point. Worse than the 4th down "catch" that hit the ground and wasn't reviewed last year? Bama scored 2 plays later.
That last one wasn't a horrible call. That was 100% incomplete and they got it right. Herbstreit is just an Ohio State homer who can't objectively call their games. His true colors were on display then, and again this past December. Biased homer honk.
8:57, ah, the call that OSU fans STILL cry about to today as if this was ruled the other way, OSU would’ve actually won that game, lol. They also act like it was an egregious call, could’ve gone either way. Regardless, OSU still ended up scoring to go ahead. So nothing would’ve really changed. The argument is that they would’ve had this TD + another one… that’s not how it works 😂 Regardless, you’d think that after 5+ years they wouldn’t bring it up every other week, but nah, some OSU fans are just like that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@KP3GOTDUBS Yeah that was an absolutely ignorant thing for him to say. He does that from time to time. And yeah, they’ve had a rough few years, but it happens. At least Clemson fans don’t cry every other day about a call that happened years ago that wouldn’t have even mattered as far as the outcome anyway. Or constantly have a team living rent free in their heads that is apparently “irrelevant” and not even a team that OSU plays very often. But while we’re on the subject, I believe Clemson is 4-1 against OSU, so I can kinda understand the obsession with “irrelevant” little ole tiny Clemson. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@101Navyseals Video didn’t show that- yeah you see a red circle appear OFF screen and you only see a tiny bit of it but no player. Stay mad at the play I guess but there’s nothing wrong with it.
On the Clemson v OSU gsme, the WR never had a chance to being the ball into his body......therefore I get the call. That said, if they went with the play on the field, that wouldn't have been the worst call in the world either. You have to bring the ball into your body though.
When I'm in a being blind competition and my opponent is an ACC ref

The ACC does have the worst refs, but surely you can find some clips from other conferences lol
Does it really fucking matter? Just a fact that the majority of bad calls historically comes from the ACC
At 3:30 isn't the ref just trying to allow for a defensive substitution before the snap?
Yes, Winston should have been flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct and ejected for grabbing the official. The ref was just following the rules.
Yes. This video is full of calls that were not bad.
