My grandfather was a baby boy in mush . His family fled and they were forced to leave him behind as Turks were killing all males . They left him with a Kurdish neighbor and dressed him like a girl . All his life my grandfather was wishing to be able to see his neighbor or his descendants to thank him for saving his life .

There is no information about the Armenian deportation in Turkish textbooks. However, in our researches, it was seen that the Ottoman State deported not only Armenians but also Alevis. That is why we come across Armenians in Syria, Lebanon and the Golan Heights. Or we come across Alevis in the east of the Black Sea region.
